Everytime I read one of his questions I think to myself, "Wow, this guy is sad." I feel fortunate that I have seen the light and that many of you have as well. Do you think the haters will ever see the light?

I realize I may be accused of making generalizations here;

Why is it that gay men and straight women are generally able to get along so well, while lesbian women and straight men are often at odds. It seems as though straight men are left out of the picture.

Is this due to intolerance, dissimilar interests, or some other factor?

This question has been asked a few times in the "Religion and Spirituality" section (I don't know if you've been there, but it's a very strange and not-altogether-pleasant place). Generally, there have been two answers given to this question, to whit:
1) No, a "gay Christian" is a contradiction in terms, and
2) All Christians are sinners, but true Christians must try to put their homosexual sin behind them.

I want to ask this question in the LGBT section to see if any different answers emerge here. I am primarily interested in the views of LGBT-identifying people of any or no religious affiliation. Others, of course, are welcome to offer their opinion (and I'm sure I couldn't stop you if I tried).

I can not imagine that they are trying to convince us to change. And if they are, they are truly delusional.

Or is it that they get a little thrill being on this site. A small tingling in their groins as they think of themselves with someone of the same sex. Naughty, naughty. And none of their friends will know.

Are they getting extra points at the Church of Hate? If they want those points, shouldn't they list an e-mail address?

People say that people from Chicago end their sentences with a proposition. Give me an example of when you were speaking to a Chicagoan and they ended their sentence with a proposition.

Okay, if homosexuality is, as many say, "inborn", given that you believe in the bible, why didn't God create an alternative to Adam and Eve? I mean, couldn't he have come up with Eve and Evette or SOMETHING to show the justification of this argument that God made gay and straight people. Okay, and if you're going to say something like, "God created murderers or prostitutes" or something like that, spare me - God created the person - they chose to become whatever they became. Your thoughts?

I've been living a kind of double life for the better part of 15 years. I'm a Male to Female cross-dresser. For the most part, I'm still in the closet, but have recently ventured out a bit as my feminine alter ego. I feel like I might be ready to take the next step and share my secret w/ some friends and family. I'm very very nervous and scared about what their reactions might be. Has anyone had any kind of similar experiences or some good advice?

Most of us have met people with whom we initially felt compatible, only to discover they believed, acted or felt something that we could not tolerate.

What characteristics, opinions, habits, or interests will kill any possibilities of a relationship with someone you would otherwise find attractive?

Im totally not anti-gay, I have many gay friends, but have never asked them this.....

If gay men are attracted to Femenine qualities, why dont hey just fancy women?

And like wise, if lesbians are attracted to masculine females, why don they just fancy men?

I meet a lot of lesbian couples who are very masculine, and gay couples who are extremely femenine. It confuses me.
Can anyone shed light?
