No dear it is not a stupid question. What your Bio teacher said is true but it's not something that will happen sometime in the future. It is what has been happening since the creation of this universe. We all (as eternal souls) keep transmigrating from one species to another depending on our Karma. So each and every human being on this earth has previously been through many life forms - trees, fishes, insects, dogs, lizards, tigers, snakes, owls, bats, dinosaurs, rats, apes, etc

And if we do bad things (terrible ones) in our present life, we will again fall down the ladder and become any of those 'organisms '. So be ever cautious and mend your ways :)))

um, this sounds like the plot to xmen 4
no, your biology teacher is incorrect. new species are formed when (1) genes are swapped and altered between members of the same species to produce a new genetic makeup leading to a different characteristic (a new arm, a new type of antibody, a new blood type, etc.). and (2) produces some advantage in the environment such that that trait is viewed as favorable and is passed on to more and more offspring. the key is that it must be passed on to more offspring, and retained. then, several of these changes must occur such that those containing the new genes can only reproduce with each other.the processes that allow for the creation of new species require over a thousand, maybe a million, iterations of genetic swapping, or in other words, several generations and mixing. because humans produce a new generation every twenty years or so, this would take a VERY long time. now bacteria on the other hand, they reproduce quickly (some in hours) so mutations that could lead to new strains could conceivably occur rather quickly, and new species much longer.

If it was a stupid question, why ask in the first place. But no matter you did ask.

Your bio teacher has some deep issues and should be reported to school authorities.

It would be nice if the next generation would turn into something that is more human and intelligent

P.S. - learn to spell properly. noe = know, itz = its. One more thing, you capiltalize the i as in "I know its"

...Your bio teachers is really stupid. It takes thousands-usually millions-of years to evolve even a little bit.
Also, GLBT people have been around for thousands of years. There are tons of gay slave rapes dating back to the 1600s, not to mention things before that, such as records of there being gay couples in Rome and Greece.

They are symptoms of this generation now, of course it will exist in the future.

Symptoms are what you feel and cannot be seen by others (as opposed to signs), this has been in many many generations prior to our time.
