Why do you really think that there are so many gay bashers in the Gay and Lesbian section?

I can not imagine that they are trying to convince us to change. And if they are, they are truly delusional.

Or is it that they get a little thrill being on this site. A small tingling in their groins as they think of themselves with someone of the same sex. Naughty, naughty. And none of their friends will know.

Are they getting extra points at the Church of Hate? If they want those points, shouldn't they list an e-mail address?

There are so many gay bashers in the Gay and Lesbian section because some people are angry that they will never ever get laid and decide to take it out on other people who are different (or not so different) from them. Like, "Hey, why don't I go to the queer section to and make up some bs reason to justify bashing gay people so I can feel all righteous and awesome without an orgasm?" Because projecting and spreading your hate is totally an awesome way to fulfill yourself. They will probably all die of a brain aneurysm at an early age so it's all good.

For all the same reasons that people come on here spewing their racist statements. It is one and the same.

There are a lot of angry, hateful people out there that spend their whole lives trying to degrade and put down others because they have something wrong inside of themselves that they are not happy with. They are hurting on the inside, so they are projecting this pain onto others.

All you can do is pity them and feel sorry for people like this. It is pointless to try and take them on, because you risk also taking on their negative energy, and end up feeling as sick, sad, and disturbed as they are.

Hate is a horrible thing that hurts only the person that carries it. Hate eats away at your soul until you have nothing left...those who embrace hate and foster it as fervently as many do on here will no doubt come to sorry, sad ends.

Isn't it proven by psychologists and what-not that people who indulge SO much in a certain area (like homosexuality) are really gay themselves or just super fascinated by it? I'd like to think that these incessant gay bashers would see that. If any of these bashers had an iota of sense they would see that they are basically outing themselves by being in here SO much.

What surprises me is that Yahoo allows this. In some case Yahoo is bundled with the phone company in many homes.

Is this intolerence excusable? At what point does this become a situtation where they need to address it?

There's bashers in just about every controversial section, check out politics, spiritual and religious, news and events. You're in a minority that flaunts it honey and if you ask goofy questions, you're going to get bashed. I wouldn't think of trying to get you to change but don't ask don't tell is the best thing for both of us.

I think they just know that this is the area of the Yahoo answers site where gays and lesbians are, so they want their close-minded crap to be heard by them.

There are people out there that can only feel good about themselves if they can feel superior to someone or something else. They bash other cultures, ethnic groups or beliefs because its an easy way for them to get this feeling of superiority.

Actually, its something we are all guilty of at one time or another. You may feel superior because your favorite sports team is winning, or your political party is running things. You may even feel superior to those who spew hate because you are unwilling to stoop to their level.

The thing I try to do is to recognize it for what it is and not waste my time dwelling on somebody else's psychological problems.
