People say that people from Chicago end their sentences with a proposition. Give me an example of when you were speaking to a Chicagoan and they ended their sentence with a proposition.

Fuzzy must be country and can't drive. Chicagoans can drive anywhere, it you that can't drive in Chicago!
We have communication, so we don't have to be so specific. You want to go with? OK, either you do or don't, who cares where? If you don't want to go anywhere, who cares about a specific location?
If you don't understand, meet a Chicagoan in Da Alley and it will be explained to you clearly!

I'm a Chicagoan and I've never heard anyone opine similarly. I have heard that we have a certain timbre, stress and intonation when we speak but never that we end our sentences with prepositions.

People from Chicago rule the world, so anyone who says otherwise must be from Wisconsin, and if that's the case, they really should really keep that on the DL. You know what I'm sayin'? Shoo.

"You's going downtown? Where you going to?"

But hey, people from Chi-Town aren't the only ones guilty of this. In fact, we end certain sentences with prepositions so frequently that it has become accepted.

"Where are you from."

Less accepted (in my opinion) but as frequently heard:

"Where are you at?"

I just love these LGBT themed questions. (That's sarcasm because this question just doesn't belong here. lol)

Do you want to go with?

other people would say where, the store or whatever. We expect people to keep up with the program.

p.s. wouldn't "words" or "language" or "chicago" suited this quesiton better?

Hhmm...never really thought about it or paid attention, but I do know that they DO NOT know how to drive. I hate going to Chicago.
