That will depend on your personality. Are you really social, or not? Do you need help taking care of the house, or is it easier to do it yourself? And fincial burderns ofcourse. If you are good at social networking, you will probaly do well.

I live on my own and though i can cope with bills, housework, and everything else that comes with running a home, i find it hard without company of some kind. Sure, if i had a man around the house, he would be lazy, smell bad, make more mess in an hour than i do in a day, moan more than i do, and leave the next DIY project unfinished and worse than it started, but i would have someone to blame, to nag, to shout at and to deny sex of. Life would be great in some sense. He would have to be gorgeous, funny and able to say a full sentence without making a fool of me or himself, nor saying a swear word in front of guests etc. Well mannered and very rich.

On second thoughts, no, i will never find someone like that.

I have been living with my boyfriend for 7 years but I can tell you before that I lived on my own for years and years - just dating, going out on the town and generally having the time of my life - I loved living on my own. I love my boyfriend to bits but I find that living with someone for such a long time can sometimes make me a bit lethargic - for instance, when I was living on my own - every minute of the day was filled - doing this, doing that etc - now, I am a bit lazier - however, if my bf is ever away - I spring into action again! The worse situation for me would be to be living with someone who I don't like - torture!

Both living alone and living with someone has it positives and negatives. If you don't live with anyone then you dont have to be accountable for anything inside the home and you can do things on your terms. However living someone means that you can come home and share your day with that person. Have meals with that person. Curl up on the couch and just watch TV

I love living alone- but then I love my own company..

However- I have lived with other people and equally enjoyed that..

My only big problem with living with someone else is if they are unreliable (eg with rent) or they make a mess and expect you to live with it or even tidy up after them!

I think it really depends on yourself..

yes and no, its great to live on your own for a few years before living with someone else, it also depends how selfish you are or if u can compromise, if ur selfish and stubborn then living alone is for you, if your lonely and can work 50/50 on the house then do it, its nice to wake up to someone in the morning :-)

For me it is. I do things my way, and I can't stand it when someone comes in and messes it up. I'm very nit-picky too about other people's stuff invading my space and people using my stuff. That's why I live with my dog. At least he's not going to use my computer or leave the tv on at all hours of the day.

Living alone is about the freedom to what you like, when you like. I'd say that's more enjoyable. And if you get bored invite somebody round, then tell them to sod off when you tire of their company.

Most definitely. It's better to be living alone than to be in a situation where you wish you were living alone!
