hello again, damn do i have a lot of problems with her, this girl i liked that i conffesed to, but it's been over a month ago, all of a sudden she starts acting wierd around me, it all started last week when we were texting, all i said was i had chiken for dinner, she tells me i might look like a chicken when i go to school tommorow, so i tell her that's impossible. but then she says that i might cut my hair into a style like the boys (spiked), i was shocked and told her "why'd i do that? i'm not a boy..." then she tells me "well because your, you know, you told me..." so i knew she was talking about my feelings for her, then i asked how she still remembered, she replied "how can i forget that? you were really wierd, are you still like that?" and so on and so on. and now, when i text her, her replies are really short and when i go near her she's like, i don't know wierd she ain't as happy seeing me anymore, please help i don't understand her, what's wrong...

I work in healthcare and I am a lesbian. I have told everyone at work that I have a female partner and pretty much everyone is nice to me, but I know people gossip. I also know that some people are involved in religions that condemn homosexuality. I notice that thse particular people are cold or distant from me. Should I keep quiet about it in future jobs to keep myself safe?

Just wondering if anyone has ever read "Want to be a Nobody-Striving for Anonimity", it is book about sex slavery, human trafficking etc, and is supposed to be quite good if you are studying womens issues etc at coll-uni, so many books to buy that I dont want to waste time (and money!) if someone can say such and such a book is better.

Recently I met a very gorgeous, funny, intelligent man online that is soon going to be moving to Virginia Beach from Bangkok. I really like him and I believe the feeling is mutual and we both have agreed to remain friends until we figure out exactly what we both want.
He is everything that I want in a man; he is a virgin, hard-working, intelligent, funny, etc. But the problem is that if we get into a relationship I wont be able to move to Virginia for 2-3 more years when I finish my bachelors program (which wont be an issue because i want to get out of Kansas anyways).

In your opinion can long distance relationships last this long?? How much faith should I put in the situation, and what are some signs that the relationship will turn from being a serious friendship to a serious .... relationship.??

I've heard that as many as 50% of women will have some sort of lesbian sexual experience in their lives, yet only 1-2% claim to be lesbians. If a guy has a sexual experience with another guy, he's considered gay - no questions asked. And if he tries to claim otherwise, he'll be laughed at. However many females have gay or bi-sexual experiences during their lives and yet still claim to be straight. From the perspective of gay men, they can pretty much do anything. However, they are already looked down upon by many in society,so it may just be a matter of not having as much social perception to lose in the first place. It also reflects biology to a certain extent. Men are generally either gay or completely heterosexual, with no attractions toward any other guys. Females, however, whether lesbian or heterosexual, many times exhibit many bi-sexual qualities, even when they are not trying to be sexual at all.

Isnt this unfair.Coz i feel guys are very much restricted than girls sexually

The O.T. is full of hate and urgings to kill - much the same as the Koran. People are urged to kill those who commit meanial 'crimes' such as working on Sunday, being gay, not belonging to the current most popular belief system, etc etc. The New Testament tell us to love everyone (ie no public stonings etc for above 'offences') and turn the other cheek.

So why don't the fundies advocate Love and Tolerance (as Jesus did). Instead they seem to be brimming with Hate and Intolerance.

I saw 2 women kissing in the street here In Stirling Scotland, and another woman saw it too, called over a policeman and had them arrested for indecent behaviour. They were let off with a caution. Unbelievable!

Before you answer the question, listen to their song "Michael".

Quote:
"So sexy, so sexy, so come and dance with me, Michael".

If I'm reading it wrong, what else could it mean?

... it is queerer than we *can* suppose".

This quote comes directly out of "A Short History of Nearly Everything" by Bill Bryson. I bought the book to answer questions about the universe, but already by page 36 it is generating questions rather than answering them!

What was Haldane saying?

Do you feel he was "queering you up" in the sense of "big it up for the universe!", except "queer it up for the universe!" instead?

Are you happy to live in a queer universe?

Do you think that as a biologist he was saying that queerness is all pervasive amongst species and straightness is the exception to the rule? Is that why so many dogs get it wrong? Aren't queer dogs cool?

I think this subject deserves to be discussed and anyone censoring it obviously has a problem living in a queer universe. What have you got against a queer universe?

I do not require you to like me as an individual or approve of what I do in bed. I don't understand why you think that your religion allows you to criticize anyone. It was Ghandi who said 'I like your Christ. I don't like your christians --they are so unlike your Christ'. I can't believe that if Christ were alive today that he would be so hateful...so why are you? Please this is a serious question. I don't understand why you are so different from what christ has taught you.

Such bigotry these days, I went to a gay bar a week ago, and my lesbian friends are open minded so they went with me to check it out and make more friends. Well, a few men were disgusted and this guy comes up to us and says "get out! Men only!" in front of my lesbian friends. I told them to shutup and we had a big fight... I really don't want to explain the whole thing.

After I made my point across to him, we left and my lesbian friends wanted to know if it's ok I can go with them at a lesbian bar instead. So I said "Ok, sure why not? Sounds cool to me."

Well, I wasn't welcomed there either because a few lesbians looked at me, and gave me this odd look. This girl came up to me and said "Are you gay?" I was like, "Yea." She was like, "Oh! No, you are not welcomed her, get out!" My lesbian friend defended me, and they got into a cat fight. I had to break it off.. I yelled "ENOUGH!"

I love gays and lesbians and treat them respect, but a few are hypocrites.

Why is this?

First off, I'm a girl.

Okay well this girl who's friends with one of my friends was spending the night over his house and so was I. We were all watching the Devil Wears Prada and after the movie we starting drinking a little bit. So after we were done drinking we turned out all the lights and tried to go to bed. I'm lying there with my back turned to her and she puts her arm around me. I'm like w/e she did say ealier that she likes to cuddle while sleeping but then she starts biting my shoulder. I didn't really think it was gonna get to sex so I say to myself just go with it. So after about 10 minutes things start to get a little more sexual. Well basically we end up having sex and that was my first time with a girl so I was happy until I remembered she has a boyfriend. Now I feel horrible and I think I should have stopped her. Do you guys think I should just forget it ever happened or should I talk to her or something.
