I have seen quite a few people use RAMO in answers and I would like to know what it means.

It takes 2 to tango so why is it traditionally the woman who is most likely to come under critisism for sexual conduct, while a man doesnt just escape critism but is often praised for his "conquests"?
Its only going by stereotypes of cause. Do you think its a method to control women's behaviour? Do some men think that promiscuity makes them "real men". Or do you think that some parts of society are more liberal: for instance if a popular girl sleeps around she's "adventurous" but if an unpopular girl sleeps around she's a "slapper"?

I consider myself a lesbian, but no one at work knows. Not that that directly bothers me because I'm not one to bring my private life to work. However, sometimes they make comments that upset me because I feel they are being a bit homophobic and intolerant. I speak up for my beliefs without saying that I am gay, but sometimes I feel they need to know that they are directly offending me. And sometimes they question me on why I don't have a boyfriend and if an attractive male customer comes in, they motion to me and say things like "you should get his number." I get annoyed by this. However I don't want my sexuality to be an issue with my work and I don't want it to effect their view of me, but I'm just tired of it all. I know that they can't fire me because of my sexual orientation, but I just don't think my sexual preference is any of their business. What can I do to feel more comfortable at work?

Me and my partner want to have a baby, but not the "natural" way. I want to know. If I wanted to have baby, just by doing it turkey bastor style, how would I? I already have a donor. I just need to know HOW exactly to do it. Is there a CLEAN website, that will give you step by step instructions on how to do this with being able to get pregnant? Thanks!

I personally am a little mixed about my feelings towards Mary. Everyone is entitled to their beliefs politically, but I can't understand why Mary would be in full support of George Bush other than the fact that this administration punches her meal ticket.

you can support gays all you want but why do you support them to adopt innocent children?do you think god created everyone from a mother just because shes a female?or a dad just becuase hes a male?their is more to a mother or a father then their sexuality it creates an emotional balance so the child doesnt get confused or emotionally corrupted .but once he has two same sex parents what type of life do u think he ll live?other then the problem of two same sex parents do u think people will look at him normaly when he says i have two moms or two dads do u think it will be easy for him to deal with the critism of science proffessors priest and homohaters?
p.s think before you support!

I was told by that wierd Jesus Loves You guy that two women cannot have a FAMILY toghether. Who else agrees with this nonsense?

I believe a FAMILY is one where you have strong loving support from the parental structure (whether it be a single woman, single man, TWO women, TWO men, or a hetero couple) and children who have a good respectful relationshp with eachother and the parents. This has NOTHING to do with the SEXUALITY of the parents, whatsoever. It has do with the PERSONALITY & CHARACTER.

Can you really change one into the other? My best friend has fallen completely in love with a woman who is known to have a uh....not to pleasing background of sleeping around. It was really bad from age 15-24. She's now 25 and they are in a loving relationship. But other friends and family are afraid that once a hoe, always a hoe! Is this true??

Once my girlfriend and I choose to start our family, I really would like for there to be a male presence in our childrens lives. Even though i am not attracted to men & dont wish to have a family with one, I am aware that men have many valuse that are appreciated in a childs life. My girlfriend is very hesitant to hire a male nanny (past emotional/abuse issues as a child), AND neither of us have many close male friends. What would you suggest?

What is the fair compromise here? Mind you, I will be the one who will be pregnant. She'a always had this dream of a huge family. I want to make her happy, but damn! 8 kids? AND....she really wants to start a family soon. She talks about babies all of the time & gets depressed from time to time because we dont have one. I would like to finish earning my degree and have a more stable income before becoming pregnarnt & starting our family together. That just makes more sense to me than having a baby now when we are 23 & 22, and live in a 1 bedrm apartmnt bringing in 2,500 a month! Am i being selfish?

Is it possible to have a healthy, satisfying, NON- drama filled friendship with an ex you use to be completely in love with? How likely is the friendship to work and be 100% strictly platonic?

My girlfriend has a bestfriend of 7 yrs whom she actually use to date & be in love with in 2004. After they broke up (not a good break up), there friendship was rocky and never truly grew to its full past potential. A yr ago, she moved 3000 miles away to come live with me. Ever since that move, the friendship between her & this friend has declined even more. My girlfriend has recently expressed to me that she feels guitly for the friendship gone bad because they use to be so close. She almost feels as if she abandoned her. BUT she willingly admits that the friendship was a little unhealthy and very draining.

So i have a few questions actually. I can sympathize with the loss of a friendship, but i feel as if she is beating herself up unnescessarily. Am i wrong for this? Is it normal for her to feel guilty about this friendship or is this a little deeper? Meaning, does a little of this have to do with the fact that they used to be in love with eachother as well?
