Not people, Pedohpiles. You make a mistake in putting these perverts in the same category of: people. Supposedly it is an uncontrollable urge, well I guess I have an uncontrolloble urge tu purge the world of these real "Demons"...that wouldn't be half bad, would it?

I strongly suggest you get help ... professional help...as soon as possible. trust me, 'People" do not get these urges! Since you feel they do, I must assume that YOU have these urges! Have yourself committed immediately and work things out...it will take years and years, hopefully your lifetime before you are on the streets again.

Because they're sick paedophiles. To think, let alone acting on raping a child or an adult for that matter is vile and disgusting. Considering 95%+ molesters are straight, it does make you wonder how they can call gays perverts.

Some reasons could be chemical imbalance, mental illness, drug/alcohol abuse, or the person was a victim of molestation him/herself.
Did you post this question in the wrong section? Statistics show that most sexual abuse of little girls is committed by heterosexuals.
