I personally am a little mixed about my feelings towards Mary. Everyone is entitled to their beliefs politically, but I can't understand why Mary would be in full support of George Bush other than the fact that this administration punches her meal ticket.
What do other sisters think?

I can't say as I'm all that sure of my feelings in this regard either.
I'm happy she's in a loving long-term, committed relationship, I'm happy that she and her partner, Heather Poe, are expecting soon.
I'm upset that Mary and/or Heather have NEVER ONCE publicly said anything about the fact that the Cheney family keep Heather noticeably out of family photo ops or public appearances. I'm upset that Dear ol'Dad Dicky shot down Wolf Blitzer in a recent interview when Wolf asked about Dick's feelings regarding Mary's pregnancy.
I'm upset that Mary all too willingly left a cushy little liaison job to work for her father's campaign.
I'm upset that she never once spoke publicly about her father not defending her right to marry or against Bush's proposed ban on same-sex marriages.
Personally I feel betrayed.

Maybe its the fact that she supports her father, and by supporting her father, she has to take the abuse that comes politically.
The thing of it is, is that it doesn't matter. If you wanted your fathers acceptance, wouldn't you go along with it?
Maybe she is being paid to keep her silence? Maybe she is being put against her life that if she doesn't shut up she dies? Bush shot her father and blamed it on hunting, whats not to say he will do it to her too?
Lets go take Cheneys daughter out and shoot her and pretend she was a deer? Durh...Bush is stupid thats all I have to say.

I think she's alright. Just because she has political views that are completely different from my own doesnt mean I would take a lick at that ;)

Whatever. I've met so many conflicted people when it comes to politics I've stopped even trying to make sense of people's political opinions. Even mine aren't completely consistent.

She's in support of Bush because she's an idiot. I dont support her for that at all. BUT i do support her for being her own woman sexually and living her life for herself.
