For valentines day a few years ago, my partner said she was taking me to dinner. Well she said he had to stop at the house before we went to the resteraunt. We got to the house and on the door was a big heart. She just smiled and opened the door. We walked in and from the front door all the way to the dining room was rose pedals. I followed. In the dining room it was decorated with roses, candles, and the table was set all nice. She made me dinner.. mmm so nice, and after dinner she had one of those dessert trays that have many different kinds of small cakes and cookies. We fed each other. . it was soo cute... I liked it just being us... and the fact that she cooked dinner and too the time to plan everything...

Have them come home to a candle lite house and you wrapped up with a big red bow just like a present. You might even consider drawing them a scented bath and have rose petals leading to the bedroom. There never will be a better present then giving of yourself. My wife loved it when I did this for her.

Get them a stuffed animal and some sort of accessory so that way they'll have something to snuggle up to when your not around and something they can wear everyday to remind them of you. It works... but everyone loves the cliche chocolate and flowers more... or at least I do! <3

Get someone to wrap you up nude in a huge silk/satin ribbon like they do with presents; leave a note at the front door directing him to the bedroom and when he finds you there in bed all wrapped up and naked, it will turn him on. I think flowers are really old, and if you decide to get them, for guys, get lavendars instead. Roses are just too old and expensive on Vday. Maybe cook up a nice dinner for two.

I made reservations at his favorite restaurant, and then I plan to take him to a movie, his choice. Then I'm not sure what else we will do, but I have a good idea.

We do not celebrate VDay much - usually just a card. To us it is just a made up thing and has no real significance to either of us.
