When did you realize you were attracted to the same sex? I am dealing with a lot right now and woudl like to hear from others. I am 26 years old. I am not sure what my label is but I have been with men and women. I have always tried to tell myself that since I amnot repulsed by men then I must be strait But I have really been taking a look at my life and feeling that was a lie to keep me from admitting the truth.
When I was a kid..Like 10..or younger I liked girls. I would watch the showtime adult shows and thought the women were gorgeous, I wouls sneak looks at my brothers porn mags. I had my 1st experiene with a guy at 15 and with a girl at 17. I do rememebr as a young child though being afraid that I liked girls. I did not even know the name for it..I had a major crush on a girl when I was like 11 or 12.
When I realized I was not apalled at guys though its like I breathed a sigh of relief. But I long for a womans touch even while with a man. What was your though process

Straight people for some reason think that being gay is a choice. I've come out to 2 of my "friends" and one of them didn't yell at me or hate me but they didn't talk to me anymore except on a professional level like "what's the homework for tonight" things and anyway, when i told this person they said that it was a choice but ITS NOT! They think that one day I woke up and said "I want to be gay!" and then I was gay. It doesn't happen like that! Did they wake up one day and say "I want to be straight!" No! They think we can change, but we can't! I've tried! I tried for years, it didn't work! Why do people think it's a choice?

I'm curious to know if dating for fem lesbians, & finding real love, is more difficult for you than a straight or bisexual women.

I wonder if any of you feel like this for example: You know your cute, your feminine, & you desire a feminine women. You don't desire masculinity which is why your not attracted to men OR manly women. You find many bisexual girls to be very attractive, & you get hit on by few, but usually they just want to enjoy your body rather than really enjoying you (TRULY loving you) as a person. You find that many fem lesbians seem to be similar. Maybe some of them like to be with you, but are afraid of how difficult a real, life long relationship, would be like in a world where a lesbian relationship isn't the norm. So it seems painfully hard to find the right woman who is very super feminine & desires a real life with you.

Do any of you women feel this way? Or is finding love for you easier than Straight women?

I have not understood homesexual behavior since I have been taking my psych classes. As most of this class is logical and environment based. My question is this: Many homosexual individuals seem to go after the exact traits that the opposite sex has. For example, one homosexual man is attracted to a very feminine and submissive male. In which they would find this same trait in a female. Same goes with homosexual women. A homosexual woman wil be attracted to a very butch and male like woman. Why is this? If a homosexual woman looks acts and does what males do, then why not go for a male with the same tendencies? Or the opposite for a homosexual make? The actions and mental characristics actually make no sense. In other words, this behaviour seems to not sexual attractment, but more often than not a chemical imbalance.
