If I was legally allowed to marry my partner, how would this "gay marriage" affect you or your family, relatives, loved ones, neighbors etc. ?

Would your rights be infringed upon?

No, actually I think that it would make life easier for everyone. Just for example if a gay couple can marry then they can be covered on each others health benefits. If I'm thinking correctly if the partner whose not covered goes in to the hospital with no insurance, isn't it the taxpayers that pay for it? Now I'd be happy to pay for the uninsured but if gay marriage were legal we wouldn't have to. On a personal level I know a gay couple that's been together over 30 years & I would love to be able to go to their wedding.

This is a stupid question. You know as well as most of the world that your marriage would not affect anyone in any way that has a life of their own in this world. It may affect the "stupid, narrow minded" people mentally, but do you want to have any association with them in any form or fashion? I'm not Gay and I run when I encounter them. (the stupids) I wish all people love, peace and happiness and in this day and age, it is hard enough to make it. Why in the h***would I care whom you married as long as you and your mate are happy? Live your life to the fullest, we all deserve to be happy since we all can't be rich. If I had a preference, I would rather be a miserable lonely old rich woman.

Your legally recognized gay marriage would affect me a great deal.

I'd be absolutely thrilled for you!

Likewise, if my state makes it legal before yours does, I hope my legal marriage to the woman I already call my wife would have a similar and great effect on you as well.

Keep fighting the good fight!
We will all get there eventually!

I don't understand what every ones problem is with gay people getting married. I think they have every right to be married as a straight couple does.

i'm for same sex marriage and gay rights. i respect people's choices of happiness. everybody has the right to be happy...we're supposed to be considered equals right? at least that's what "they" say.

your marriage would only make me happy...and i could care less of what/how others feel about "gay marriage". people need to be more open minded.

I would be happy for you!! I live in Canada and it is legal for gay people to get married, and it hasn't affected my life one little bit!!!! And the people that it does bother are closed minded idiots.

Because YOU WOULDN'T BE MARRIED TO ME; BOO HOO!

Therefore my rights to a hot time would be infringed upon!
