Homosexual Tendencies?

I have not understood homesexual behavior since I have been taking my psych classes. As most of this class is logical and environment based. My question is this: Many homosexual individuals seem to go after the exact traits that the opposite sex has. For example, one homosexual man is attracted to a very feminine and submissive male. In which they would find this same trait in a female. Same goes with homosexual women. A homosexual woman wil be attracted to a very butch and male like woman. Why is this? If a homosexual woman looks acts and does what males do, then why not go for a male with the same tendencies? Or the opposite for a homosexual make? The actions and mental characristics actually make no sense. In other words, this behaviour seems to not sexual attractment, but more often than not a chemical imbalance. Many have said that this is true for straight individuals, however, that is the physiology. CONTINUED:

For this also come the subjects on why male replication is needed to stimulate the homosexual females desires. Why is anal sex a huge part of a male homosexuals life? For these are found in the opposite sex. These actions would negate the lifestyle that is proclaimed.

Would you be attracted to a butched up girl? (I got the impression you're a heterosexual female). Of course not, because you're heterosexual and its still a girl. The gender expression doesn't matter. Have you talked about gender in your classes yet? It's REALLY not as simple and dichotomous as you think it is. Also, the types of people you're asking about are one small portion of the gay / lesbian population. Trust me, there's LOTS of very masculine guys who tend to be into other VERY masculine guys. As well as the opposite for women.

I have no idea what you're trying to say towards the end there about why it makes sense for straight people and all that. Also, anal sex is NOT something that all gay men partake in or are into. For those that are, it's usually about A)Nerve endings. Men have a prostate, and that's the best way to get to it. B)the psychology of that type of envelopment etc. There are many straight men that also enjoy anal sex. The specific behaviors aren't about who you're with, so much, but just about nerve endings and what tends to feel good to people. Sexual orientation IS about who you're with. The two are unrelated except in that vaginal intercourse is obviously ruled out as a potential sexual activity if neither party has a vagina.

Homosexual behaviour can be compared to hetrosexual behaviour. First understand homosexualality is constructed, just like hetrosexuality is constructed.

Then we all know opposites attract. So femminate attracts macho. that is broad thinking though. Because people do seem to look at first impresions, and get to know character later. Then each person , rather it be a homosexual or a hetrosexual, has their individual likes and dislikes.

It is said 1 in every 4 have some sort of gender nonconformity. there should be a scale with this, lol. Some children are born with hormonal imbalances that cause a gender nonconformity, while other children learn characteristics that form a gender nonconformity. So you can see why we have such a variation to characteristics one learns in life and uses to construct their likes and dislikes.

By the way, gender nonconformity is a seperate issue than homosexuality. Though science say it may be a predisposition to homosexuality, many children with a gender nonconformity will not construct homosexuality. There are also many children without a gender nonconformity that do construct homosexuality.

While i am not totally enlightend about anal sex, some men that are homosexual like this and some do not. That goes for some hetrosexual men as well, some will like anal sex while most do not. I have heard that there is some stimulation that occurs in a man due to locations of certain anatomy. Not sure on that.

The reason it appears women need stimulation from what is considered a mans point of veiw, is because also of anatomy, if it works dont change it. So immatation is easy when it is between two women, but there is a difference between the looks , and sometime the characteristics are much different, and leads back to likes and dislikes one has constructed for their desire to what creates pleasure for them, rather homosexual or hetrosexual.

Lets see. First off, I am not sure how the mind works. Homosexuality is a sin in my eyes. One thing I do hate is the word homophobia/homophobic. Just because I disagree with their "lifestyle" I am labeled homophobic. This is irritating. They do not like or accept my lifestyle, so are they hetreophobic? Seriously. Grow up. ******* need to quit being so gay.
