I say everyone has a right to their own opinions. I would say a homophobe is someone who asks questions like "should we tag gays to make sure they don't come within 100m of children?". These are people who usually turn out to be racist too. Basically: uneducated, small minded, self absorbed, hateful people who have nothing better to do than torment those 'different' to them.

What is your definition?

People always look down on us? For what a different life style. It is pointless and rude.

Ok, I've know this woman for years and everyone says she like me because she treats me differently, we are always smiling/looking at each other and we text a LOT etc. I haven't particularly noticed and don't think it's that obvious.

I have started to really like her, and sometimes we mildly flirt in texts but sometimes she doesnt reply to me at all. I want to ask her out but not sure, she teaches at my old college which i have left but we are still good friends. Would that complicate things? Is it allowed now I've left? How could I ask her out without her thinking it was just a friend thing?

I know you'll all say be blunt but it's a tricky situation, I don't want to lose her as a friend so don't want to bluntly say "will you go on a date with me?".

I was thinking of texting her and asking her to go to a show with me but I just fear she won'y reply and it will be akward when i next see her and never mentioned.

Please help, I need advise. Thank You.

-Gay men have females that hang around with them (for some reason) . Is there a comparable phenomenon with lesbians? I'm sure there's guys who'd *like* to hang with them, but are they allowed? There seems, in general , more of an anti-male vibe in the gay female vs. gay male scene but that's anecdotal for me. The deal?

It is a sin and i find it gross. I don't hate anybody because of it. Am i a biggot for disagreeing? I treat gay people like human beings, but because I don't agree with their life style i guess it means my heart is full of hate in society's opinion.

I'll try and make this short and to the point. I've been with my boyfriend for 20 months. The relationship has had its fair share of drama, normally caused by myself. The drama consisted of me kissing a guy that was meant to be my friend and me dancing with my boyfriend's friend at a club. Anyway, last night I went to a club and danced with another guy, I told my boyfriend, after he prompted me a few times and asked me to swear on things such as his life. He went mad (understandably) and told me that I wasn't the kind of girl he wanted to be with and basically ended the relationship. I was extremely upset when I got home and couldn't stop crying what do I do? Do I try and get him back? Do I move on? Should I take him back if he changes his mind? Please Help!!!

New York City has a special high school for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender teens - do you think this is a good idea? Should other school districts set up schools like this for their gay students? Why or why not?

A recent study found that in the homosexual man the hypothalomus is small and puffy like in a heterosexual woman. And in a lesbian the hypothalomus is large and hard like in a heterosexual man. So my question is if this study is accurate wouldnt homosexuality be a medical condition? For example if a woman is born paraplegic (unable to move) we would say that she suffers from a medical condition even if her mind is sharp. If someone is born with a 30% hearing loss (such as I) we would say that is a medical condition even though it holds no bars against the ability to learn, work, etc. So if homosexuals use a medical or anatomical excuse to say that homosexulity is not a disease isnt that in fact saying that they suffer from a medical condition?

I'm a girl and my friend(a girl) and I were talking on the phone this morning, and she told me she likes me a lot, and I was so surprised I didn't say anything and she said she had to go and we got off the phone. But I like her a lot, too, I've just been afraid to tell her. Now she thinks I hate her or she's embarassed, but I really wanna tell her I like her. How do I do it? And can I ask her on a date? I wanna go out with her really bad because I've liked her for 2 months before I found out suddenly that she likes me, and I may be in love with her. Can we kiss in public, too? Help!

I am a girl and I am attracted to one of my friends, a girl. How do girls flirt? I want to make it kinda know but a little subtle that I'm attracted to her. I want her to just think about it. We are friends so I joke alot, so this may be more difficult. I dont want to make her feel too uncomfortable. How do two girls flirt?

I guess it would help to say that I am in my late-teens
