In the movie "Out Cold", there is a guy in the movie who's adopted but turns out to be gay. Bryan Singer, the director of Superman Returns, is adopted and is gay. I myself am adopted and I'm bisexual. Is there a pattern for this or just coincidence?

Why is it some straight guys are afraid to be around gay men..but being around lesbians is not a big deal. Myself, I would rather hang in a club around gay guys...because all the women seem to gravitate towards them..especially the hot ones!!! I am definately straight and I love gorgeous girls....my point being if you are a true red-blooded hetro you would look at gay males as doing you a favor and allowing one more female to be on the market! I look at homosexuals as a gift, and think they are actually cool..

I'm a lesbian, and pretty much everyone i've ever talked to about it says I can't have children and be a mother when I'm older. Well, I want to anyway.

What are your opinions on adoption, artificial insemination, or just choosing a close friend to be a father? Which do you think would be best for the child, and which do you think would be the easiest for the mothers to deal with?

First of all I just want to say I have no views on it, some of my best friends are gay and I dont care, my question is, "where should I stand and why?"
I cannot argue in favour of gay people because simply saying each to their own isnt enough, I say this because peadophiles could say "each to their own" in the same vein, same as people practising incest and however many other crude things we find disgusting. So why is it ok to be gay? I need some GOOD answers so I can stick up for my friends if ever this argument comes around again, because they are good people whom I love, I just dont know how to argue in favour of them. I hope you all see where I'm coming from.

This is a really good friend of mine. i've known her for years. We hadn't been around each other for a while and then a month or so after we had been hanging out she came out to me. I just want to know how i can be supportive because this has been a difficult time for her. I don't think she chose to be this way and i still love her as a close friend.

I seriously can NOT think of any. People who dislike it say it is disgusting or wrong because they are close-minded, ignorant, and stupid. And that is their opinion, not a fact.

Also, they use the Bible and put up 50 quotes as to why it is wrong. BUT man wrote the Bible, not God. And people are allowed to have FREEDOM of religion under the First Amendment in the US Constitution, so the religions of Christianity are not the only religions/beliefs allowed, are NOT the one true RIGHT ideas.

So then tell me: WHY IS BEING GAY WRONG?

I'm straight but really like wearing cool shoes, like leather cowboy boots. Somebody told me this makes me seem gay, but I think I should be able to wear whatever I want. However, I also don't want to send the wrong message....what do you think?

You might remember some of my other questions about what to do about my female friend that I have feelings for. It has been about a month and we have become even closer friends. I thought it was a passing feeling and that I would become 'immune' to her. But the feeling has only grown stronger and I am ready to ask her how she would feel having a relationship with me. I think it is important for me and our friendship for me to be honest about my feelings. She is such an understanding and nice person and friend, I dont know if that makes it harder or easier. But the last thing I want to do is lose her as a friend. What would you do to tell your friend that you have feelings for them? or if you have been in this situation, How did you do it? How did it turn out? Thanks

then what is the purpose of being gay? if it's genetic, then it serves a purpose in nature. And if it's genetic, then how is it passed down, since gay people wouldn't normally have offspring.

How would someone defend the right of same-sex marriage to someone whose closed-minded and only says, "God said a man should not lay with a man, and a woman should not lay with a woman!!"?

Thanks for the insight.

If you're not interested in sex, and not exactly comfortable with it, can you still maintain a good relationship with a person without always having to have sex? I've always wondered this and am somewhat scared I won't ever have a good relationship with a person because most people revolve it around sex
