If you're not interested in sex, and not exactly comfortable with it, can you still maintain a good relationship with a person without always having to have sex? I've always wondered this and am somewhat scared I won't ever have a good relationship with a person because most people revolve it around sex

goodness no! sex shouldn't be the only factor in love or a relationship. i think it is an unecessary part of undergaed dating. if you're older than 18, you're an adult so you can make your own choices. i want to abstain until marriage for sex, but that is just me. if you feel that you truly and honestly love somebody, and you feel that it is not too early, go ahead. if you feel uncomfortable, DON'T!!

be true to yourself.

"ASEXUAL-This word is often used in place of 'antisexual' because it isn't thought of in such a negative way. This term has been accepted by the general public as the adjective for someone who doesn't want to participate in sexual activity. Unfortunately, in the scientific world, this term is also the adjective for something lacking gender or without sexual organs."

Some people just aren't interested in a relationship that is physical in that way, and that is perfectly fine. You can still be attracted to somebody and love them, of course.
It is harder to find somebody who agrees with you on that point, though. =(

Sex is important to me, and for most people important to a healthy marriage.
On the other hand, I can think of many things in my life that are more valuable to me than sex, starting with the welfare of my wife and children.
As a doctor, I've met plenty of happy couples who have no sex life to speak of; I've also met a lot of people whose marriages are in shambles because they can't resolve issues around sex (it's the second leading cause of divorce, after money issues...)
Be careful in your search for a partner, since you will have problems if their sexual needs are vastly different from yours.

No its not everything, but, it is SOMETHING, and a very important something. Sex is part of a normal healthy relationship. As you go through life there will be times when it is important, and other times when it is not, but, it will always be there for you as a wonderful expression of love for your partner

The sexual urge is perfectly natural.
I can be very pleasant and fulfilling.
For some time it might be more important than other things.
But if you restrict your life to that focus, then there are many things that you‘ll miss later on.
Try to accept it as reality but not as an excluding entity!

Yeah sex is really important but there are probably people like you who don't care as much. As you get older you might find yourself more interested though, happens to lots of women that way.

Sex, is not everything; I think the two most prominent human desires are hunger and sex and unfortunately most of us cannot control those desires thus they do not have as much control as they think they do

As long as your partner feels the same way , there should be
no problems over sex.

Sex ain't everything, and if someone doesn't want to have sex all the time it's OK.It's wrong to pressure enyone to have sex.

Sad, isn't it? That's why you need to find a religious man. I KNOW and I am not trying to jam religion in your face, but they are just more accepting and patient and follow morality very well. Seriously.
