You might remember some of my other questions about what to do about my female friend that I have feelings for. It has been about a month and we have become even closer friends. I thought it was a passing feeling and that I would become 'immune' to her. But the feeling has only grown stronger and I am ready to ask her how she would feel having a relationship with me. I think it is important for me and our friendship for me to be honest about my feelings. She is such an understanding and nice person and friend, I dont know if that makes it harder or easier. But the last thing I want to do is lose her as a friend. What would you do to tell your friend that you have feelings for them? or if you have been in this situation, How did you do it? How did it turn out? Thanks

My opinion is to sit down and talk to her seriously. If she is a understanding person, she should not judge you. You might have the answer to that if you've been in conversations about gay/lesbian relationships. Is she ok with it or totally against it?
I don't think its fair to YOU to have to hold back telling your friend how you feel. If you did, your relationship as "friends" would never be normal. Whether it be because of jealousy, or other things. You would always have the questions ,what if..? Good luck to you, I hope this helped.

I suppose that I've been in a situtation like this.
It started out as, we were both straight, and we didn't know eachother.
We never really talked, but everytime we'd see eachother at school, we'd have eye contact long enough to know that we wanted to talk to eachother. I had a crush on her, & I didn't even know her name.
I finally worked up the courage to go and talk to her, and we became really good friends.
We were just chatting one night, and she said that she liked me - more than a friend. I told her I liked her too, and yeah.
Although we didn't get together, as she was hung up on another person, which was a shame.

I think you should find out whether she's straight or not, and if she's not, hint to her that you would like to be something more than just friends. Don't force it though, just let it happen.

Well, no matter where ya go, there ya are.

Might as well go ahead and talk to her about it. I haven't read your other questions but I'm going to guess that y'all are approximately the same age and life experience. If you're an adult and this is a kid however, back off and stay away from her. Or at least talk to her parents before bringing up the subject with her - an honest person would do that.
