Why is it some straight guys are afraid to be around gay men..but being around lesbians is not a big deal. Myself, I would rather hang in a club around gay guys...because all the women seem to gravitate towards them..especially the hot ones!!! I am definately straight and I love gorgeous girls....my point being if you are a true red-blooded hetro you would look at gay males as doing you a favor and allowing one more female to be on the market! I look at homosexuals as a gift, and think they are actually cool..

Interesting view...although I've heard it from guys before, it's less common than the typical view many guys have that they don't want to be around gays.
As a female myself, I have gay male friends...they're great guys (or they wouldn't be my friends) but there are also those that aren't so great...just as in the hetero world.
One of the kewlest compliments I've ever gotten was from a gay friend who told me if he was straight, he'd come after me in a minute...
Why do some straight guys not want to be around gay guys? My guess is because they fear other straight guys and women will think they are gay... (you know, guilt by association)....silly, isn't it?

The only guy's that are afraid to be around "Bunboys", are usually really gay themselves only, they can't, and will never accept it! Studies have shown this to be more than true. You are normal and I agree with you that lot's of hot ladies tend to hang out with the "Gay Boy's" so, more power to you. when I used to "Club" there were lot's of straight guy's at the "Gay Bar" too and just for the reason you mention here!....... :)

Very good point indeed. Gay people do not 'recruit' straight. Gays do not become straight and straights do not turn gay. It is not something that you can 'convert' you know. For all the straights, relax! Gays are not out there to get you!

I agree with your statement and feel that everyone should be more comfortable around homosexuals because of the reason mentioned above. Plus, the have good taste (not to be stereotypical)
