Someone brought up equal rights for heterosexual couples regarding engagement rings, so I thought I would ask.

It is just like straight relationships--either partner can pop the question. It just happened in mine that my fiance asked me. There is no rule against a girl asking a guy in straight relationships, just as there is no set rule for who asks whom in homosexual ones.
Nowadays, straight or homosexual, most people decide to get married together anyway.
Could you explain the equal rights regarding engagement rings? This question intrigues me, as I didn't realize there was discrimination in this area.

The nearest Gweneth and I came to a "Proposal" was at the office where we worked.
