I JUST THINK HOMOSEXUALITY IS BY CHOICE, AND I FEEL THAT IS THE PERSON CHOICE
When and how did you 'choose' your sexual orientation?
WITH THE HELP OF PROFESSIONALS
Which "professionals"? In 1973 the American Psychiatric Association’s Board of Trustees removed homosexuality from its official diagnostic manual, The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Second Edition (DSM II). The action was taken following a review of the scientific literature and consultation with experts in the field. The experts found that homosexuality does not meet the criteria to be considered a mental illness.

AND THROUGH PRAYER THEY CAN BE HELPED.
"Helped" how... or for what reason? I've been a Christian, and heterosexual at that, for about 50 years. I chose my religion, but not my sexual orientation. No one's ever explained the supposed linkage between one's sexual orientation and one's relation with God.
GOD DIDN'T MAKE MISTAKES.
Absolutely right! God said nothing about homosexuality in the 10 Commandments. Jesus said nothing whatsoever about homosexuality, either. Not so much as one blessed word.

I'm not even gay and I find this question offensive!
No, they can't be cured because they aren't sick! It's not like cancer or diabetes! And it's not a psychological problem either! Yes, I'm sure there are gay people with mental illness, but there are also straight people with mental illness! People need to get over their homophobic ideas and start realizing that gay people are here and have as much right to a happy life as the rest of us. It's very simple, for those who don't like gays, stay away from them. Start by staying out of this section of Answers.

No, it can't. Attempts to "treat" homosexuality usually just wrecks the psyche of the gay person (and doesn't "cure them"). You can't "treat" something if it's not a disease.
So, can heterosexuality be treated?

No, you can't treat something that isn't a disease! But the bigots who insist it is a disease could "cure" their stupidity with education!

No, because for it to be treated, it would have to be a disease. It is not. (But it's too bad stupidity can't be treated--the world would be a lot better place.)

Mine likes a treat every now and then.
A nice meal, a massage, an unexpected gift... use your imagination.
And thanks for the thought; that's really sweet of you.
