A woman who has never been with men? How about a woman who tried to repress her feelings, ended up married with 3 kids, divorced after 25 years and then comes completely out of the closet, 2 years later finds the woman of her dreams and now lives happily ever after with her?
I don't understand all of this labeling. I have been with men in the past, I hated it, but I did it because I didn't want to be outcasted. I finally got tired, I'm out of the closet now and would never think to be with a man again, but yet I'm still classified as bi. Most of the time I don't care, I know what I am. Any thoughts on this?

I try to catch up with our site every day or so; plus some others, I must say that many q's tried my patience so I avoided them, thereby missing some wonderful replies from our friends.
I think that patience is the ability to put up with people you'd rather put down. So, back to reading.
Much love, Rose P.

I have known this guy for almost 4 years. We have had a very connecting relationship. We seem to understand each other better than anybody else has ever understood us. We really care deeply for each other, but, on the flip side, he is very emotionally unattacthed, especially when I tell him how I feel. I would tell him him very deep things through my e-mail and I would not get a response. Why is that? He and I are still very close. I often think of him as my soul mate. He knows that when I tell him the things I do, he seems to shut me out and he knows it bothers me. He still does it. He would pull me in, and push me away. I feel it's time to move on, but, it's really hard. I can't let go of this guy. I just wish I could. I do nothing to him to warrant this. There are lots of other guys, and I know this, but why can't I get passed this paticular guy? I am ashamed of myself for feeling like I do, it's silly, and not like me at all. What is wrong with me? Are these mind games?

I am a christian and I am afraid I am bi sexual and god doesnt like people who like the sex as they are. I am scared that god is going to be ashamed of me if I am bi. I love boys I think they are so HOT! but like when me and my friend get changed I look at her development just see the difference but I am afraid I am bi becuz I try to see myself kissing a guy and thats fine but when I see myself with a girl its hard to see but like sometimes I feel like I want to kiss her becuz she is so great to be around I am wondering if this is just a phase or I am going to be like this for the rest of my life I am just about to hit puberty and I want to know if this is going to change when I do hit puberty And when I go out with a guy I feel kinda weird but when I am crushing on him I feel ok maybe it could be that becuz I have only dated 2 guys and they were both really stupid the first one used me and went out with me for 30 sec and the other one was so shy he didnt say one word to me. pls help!

Ok, I am 14 and i think it was summer and i told my best friend i was "bi". (really not sure what i am at this moment", and he took it well. But one of the first things he told me was if i liked him he didn't want to be friends with me anymore. Over time i started to like him and i like him alot alot now. What do i do.

I'm looking for a PhD program in Gender Studies, but there is only one in the country. However, there are 12 PhD programs in Women's Studies. Is it just semantics, or would a the Women's Studies program be more archaic and limited in scope than a Gender Studies Program? Thanks for any insight.

I've noticed at my school that there are alot of homophobes and I have alot of gay friends so this really bugs me. And I try to convince people that there is nothing wrong with gay people but no one listens. Are people afraid of something different or is it some other reason. PLEASE! NO RELIGOUS ANSWERS!!!

I'm gay, and I have a friend who is "straight" or, so he says. However, I love this guy. He is the best guy. He incrediable sensitive, warm, caring, he's perfect to me! I would go see him sometimes and I would constantly get signals like he's interested in me.When I would talk to him he would look really deep into my eyes, he would not even look away. Once, we were talking about Holiday's and he forgot the name of one holiday, - it was "Thanksgiving". It was really obvious that he lost his train of thought for some reason. He had a girlfriend which surprised the hell out of me. I thought, "Why does this gay guy have a serious girlfriend?" But, when he would talk about hanging out with her he would roll his eyes, or seem so bothered by her. Finally, I told him how I felt over e-mail. It was very deep. I got no response. However, when I would see him there would be no discussion of it, which is strange because straight guys would put the breaks on this sort of thing fast, right?
