I'm gay, and I have a friend who is "straight" or, so he says. However, I love this guy. He is the best guy. He incrediable sensitive, warm, caring, he's perfect to me! I would go see him sometimes and I would constantly get signals like he's interested in me.When I would talk to him he would look really deep into my eyes, he would not even look away. Once, we were talking about Holiday's and he forgot the name of one holiday, - it was "Thanksgiving". It was really obvious that he lost his train of thought for some reason. He had a girlfriend which surprised the hell out of me. I thought, "Why does this gay guy have a serious girlfriend?" But, when he would talk about hanging out with her he would roll his eyes, or seem so bothered by her. Finally, I told him how I felt over e-mail. It was very deep. I got no response. However, when I would see him there would be no discussion of it, which is strange because straight guys would put the breaks on this sort of thing fast, right?

Seems like he may be a bit confused about his sexuality. He will come out when he's ready, try not to push the subject.

If he turns out to not be gay, then that is very embarrasing for you. Next time as a rule of thumb, try not to hit on a straight guy that has a girlfriend EVEN if you think he's gay. That's just not right man.

Just by reading your post, it sounds like he's in the closet. Give him time, he'll come out. Not to many straight guys looking deep into other guys eyes. I'm a straight female, and I don't look deep into others girls eyes.

Sounds like the typcial shy male. Men can be sensitve and not be gay. So I weren't say he is gay. He likes you. Stop calling him gay since he has a gf and that pretty much proves he's not. I hate it when sensitive straight guys are called something there not. It's irretating.

Why do you gay guys always have an obsession with turning the straight boys out??? I see this time and time again. There are plenty of sexy gay guys. Leave the straight guys alone. Geez.

If this guy is a really good friend to you then I would drop the whole thing, because no freindship is worth losing over a huntch that he might be "gay". It sounds like you are so desperate for him to be gay that you are reading things into the situation.

Wow, that's amazing! Well, if he is straight, what a guy! You know, anything is possible. I have a friend(female)who is "straight", she doesn't look at women generally, BUT, there is this 1 friend of hers that she is totally attracted to.
I dont know man that is very puzzling.
Maybe he's just incredibly open-minded?

He may like you but maybe he enjoys your friendship more and doesnt want to ruin it, also if he has a girlfriend ( in which case he's Bi) maybe hes trying to stay faithful which is a really good quality.
Seems to me that your going to have to except being friends, until he is single.
Or if its too difficult to see him then maybe just walk away.
In my experience though sometimes you can see things that arent there when you really like someone.
I hope it all works out for you.

He sounds gay to me. And, ignore the ignorant ****** above me. I'm sure you wouldn't be tlaking to him if he wasn't sending signals to you and acting interested in you. Not to mnay straight guys gaze into other guy's eyes.

If he won't talk about the e-mail and doesn't seem bothered and you are, then ask him if he felt offended in any way. Just you appreciate the way he handled the situation, not being angry with you for that e-mail. Then tell him you apologize if you offended him in anyway.
