I am reading a series of books written by the same author who's main characters are in all of them, and each book just sort of picks up where the other left off. Anyways, some of the characters in them are gay and at one point the main character makes a statement that he is always the giver and never the receiver. Forgive my ignorance here and I mean not to offend anyone, but I guess I always just thought that if you were gay that you were sort of both the giver and the receiver. In any case, please help me to understand a little more if your so inclined to.
Thank you!!

I am more interested in marriage for companionship rather than for sex. Also, I don't plan on telling my future husband that I am bisexual or that I am more attracted to females because then he probably wouldn't marry me. I really want the best of both worlds. Marriage life and also I want to have a female friend to be intimate with as well without my husband knowing. Do you think this is wrong? I don't think I will be happy with sex within my marriage only but also I won't be happy not being married. What should I do??

Why and when did the homosexual community take the sign of the rainbow that was originally the sign from God to noah and use it themselves?

has anyone heard of the finger test for testing for homosexuality. the test is that for men, if a man's ring finger is shorter than his index finger, then he is straight. but, if his ring finger is longer than his index finger, then he is gay. if they are the same size, then he is bisexual. what i want to know is your orientation, and if the two fingers i mentioned are the same size or different sizes.

Very crazy. I had a nightmare that my best friend, Kristina, got the singer Aaliyah pregnant & they were both lesbian lovers in the dream. Weird because I know that women can't get other women pregnant, & Aaliyah is deceased. Well, Kristina's sister did have a baby yesterday, & she looks like Aaliyah, but this is strange. I am very upset & worried about this nightmare.

Has anyone else ever had a nightmare about a person getting someone of the same sex pregnant? Ex: a guy getting another guy pregnant? I know this can never happen in real life, but it's a very disturbing thought. I feel very awkward.

Please don't call me schizoid, crazy, or mental. Is it my anti-depressants causing me to have these kind of nightmared?

Anyways, I'm HETEROSEXUAL, & my friend is BI in real life.

I'm bisexual but I've never come out to my family, which is a highly conservative and traditional Mexican family in terms of family/parental roles and relationships. I feel like if I were to tell them I'm bi, they'd automatically equate that with being a lesbian, yet they wouldn't understand that I love both genders equally. Has anyone had a similar experience? The closest I can come to has been with "The L Word" with Carmen's family, where the mother tells her that she'd rather have a "puta" than a "lesbiana" (meaning she'd rather have a whore/slut than a lesbian daughter). That phrase really rings close to home, because I feel like my family would become disillusioned and disappointed with me.

I'm a foreigner who lives in Malaysia, a country that sends people to jail for twenty years for homosexual behaviour.

I met someone over the internet a short while ago and we met up at his cousin's place and did our thing and he took a photo of me 'to remember me with'. After I left, he sms-ed me saying that he had videotaped our encounter and kept my condom and would go to the police to charge me with rape unless I paid him a specified amount. During our 'encounter', he was acting very helpless and making slightly protesting sounds but I thought that was his way of showing his pleasure. Apparently, he was setting me up from the get-go.

I'm a young adult (20) who was just experimenting with his sexuality and decided to stick to women. I live in an extremely homophobic society and have no plans to come out of the closet thus my life would be ruined and I would most likely be disowned if he went to police and the media picked up on it.

Do I have a case if he goes to the police?

Sociology has established that there is such a thing as heterosexual priviledge. However, tunnel vision that would focus soley on heterosexual priviledge denies that there is oppression going on even within the hierarchies found beneath the umbrella term of queer. (Bisexual, Trans, Lesbian, Gay, + also abbreviated as LGBTQ+)

Now, excluding heterosexuals in this equation, what invisable priviledge do you see that exist within the queer caucus?

meaning, priviledge that homosexuals might enjoy that trans people or bisexual/omnisexual people might be excluded from? Or, for another example, that bisexual/omnisexual people might enjoy that trans people or homosexual people might be excluded from? Again, that trans people might enjoy that homosexual and/or bisexual/omnisexual people might be excluded from?

Also, can one queer group oppress another queer group? If so, please list examples.

I told my mom I was gay about a week ago and she refuses to believe me. My brother keeps on telling her that I am not and it's really getting on my nerves. Now my mom keeps on trying to change the way I dress, the way I do my hair, and everything about me just so I will not look "gay". She will not let me get my hair cut, which is a big problem because it will look bad if the sids aren't kept short because I have a mohawk. Today, she kicked me out of the house because she said I was getting on her nerves with all of my questions. She never did give me a good reason why I should have to change the way I look. So now I am at the dorm, alone, on labor day weekend. Sucks for me. What should I do? How do I get her to believe me and let me look the way I want? I am still kind of dependent on her so I don't want to mess it up so she will not give me money. She will not let me get a job and she says she will get me a car. How do I get all of this through to her without messing everything up?

I keep seeing references to a Gay Movement, but exclusively in a homophobic context (ie, "that's what the Gay Movement wants you to believe"). I've never heard of this group, but I'm really curious about it. Does it have a national headquarters? How about congressional lobbyists? A website? Is anyone out there a member, and could you provide me with some free bumper stickers?

Apparently the Gay Movement has something to do with pushing the Gay Agenda, which is another thing I'm curious about.

My girlfriend just bought me a new fancy smancy pink dress shirt and a pair of pink slacks. She really wants me to wear it tommorow, but would gay people try to hit on me if I did wear it and would my fellow co-workers think I'm nuts?

*Disclaimer, I am not homophobic, in fact most of my friends I have are lesbians.* If my girlfriend really wants me to wear it, I will, damn love can make you do stupid things.
