I am reading a series of books written by the same author who's main characters are in all of them, and each book just sort of picks up where the other left off. Anyways, some of the characters in them are gay and at one point the main character makes a statement that he is always the giver and never the receiver. Forgive my ignorance here and I mean not to offend anyone, but I guess I always just thought that if you were gay that you were sort of both the giver and the receiver.
