Gays and lesbians are more accepted than bisexuals. And lesbians are more accepted than gays (homosexual men).

Still, homophobia is strong among straight people (especially straight men), and biphobia is strong among both straights and gays and lesbians.

Most bisexuals are closeted, especially male bisexuals. They have a great fear of being outed.

I think Gay ppl are. Bisexuals are rarely taken seriously, it's like ppl think it is a phase or they are undecided if they are gay or straight and being bi is just a transition. I think being gay is accepted more as a permanent lifestyle. Put it this way if a guy moved in with another guy and a woman and they decided they would start a family ppl would be freaked out just a little more than they would if a gay couple did the same. It's not seen as being possible to have 2 partners and everything still to be OK in that relationship.

I think that bisexual is more accepted, because then the straights feel that that there's still a chance that the person could fall on the "normal" side of the fence. Either way, I think it's no one's business what people do behind closed doors, so who cares if you like boys or girls? If you're happy, society should be happy for you. Unfortunately, some people are still so scared of change that they fear what is different. Poor buggers.

Gay. A lot of people don't get bi. they think it is either not taking a stand or just being kinky.

Gay. Bisexuals get it from both heterosexuals and homosexuals for what is perceived as fence sitting. I love people not genitals.

It depends on the community you live in. I havent met any bisexuals who discriminated against gay or lesbian people. However, i've known many heterosexual, as well as homosexual identified people who are prejudice against people who identify as bisexuals.

It has to be more of your own acceptance. Why care about how other people feel if you yourself ain't happy ?
