Okay, me not that way, bi-sexual is my format.
Most of the times I dress like a bum. I wish I could go without clothes most of the times. Anything fancy is because someone has given it to me. My dress up style is probably the 80's buppie.

hi dr. education, a metrosexual is a man that takes almost too much care of their appearance.. as much as a woman. he is straight or gay. two things that will tell a metrosexual apart from a man that isn't considered metrosexual is that the metrosexual will get his eyebrows done and nails done (with clear polish). Mainly, a man that is very fine tuned into his appearance... regular spa treatments, skin care products beyond the norm... it can be a turn off to a heterosexual woman. i hope this helps. now the question is are you a metrosexual?? =) just kidding. have a good day!

Well, Dr. Education--a metrosexual is an impeccably dressed, impeccably coiffed man. I BELIEVE that the term is generally applied to straight men, but I'm not 100% sure on that. He knows his style, knows what shoes go with which suits, and has more facial cleansers and hair care products than most women. Up until now, we called these fellas "sissy boys," but apparently that's not politically correct. My personal take on them is that if a guy takes longer to get ready than I do, then I don't want to deal with him.

It's just another word for a straight guy that has cutting-edge fashion sense.Straight guys were noticing how women couldn't resist the way gay guys dressed and groomed,so some of us (not so much me) started expanding the wardrobes and using skin care products,hair-gel,etc.It was in style for a while,but now I hear that manly slobs like me are coming back in vogue....T-shirts,worn-out jeans,boots,tatoos,not shaving for a few days.All that good stuff.That's all the rage again.
About damn time! Now I can dress like I normally do,and suddenly I'm hotshit!

generally the term metrosexual refers to middle class men who dress well, and practice good grooming. Sometimes, metro guys can be confused as homosexual men. However, metrosexual is usually a term used for heterosexual men.
Connotations on terminology can change from place to place.
I honetly don't know why it is call metro"sexual" because it doesn't exactly confer sexual orientation so much as class, dressing, and grooming practices..

OK if my understanding is correct a Metrosexual is a heterosexual man that is very concerned with his appearance. He gets manis and pedis and possibly facials. He is also very concerned with the latest fashions and looking like he belongs on the front of GQ, but he is NOT homosexual.

My understanding is that a metrosexual is a heterosexual guy who dresses like...he belongs on 'Queer Eye For The Straight Guy'. My ex-boyfriend started doing that...he looked like a dumbass...It works for some guys but not all!

It means an urban male who is concerned with doing things to keep up his appearance that other men might not be comfortable doing, such as getting facials, manicures and pedicures. Metrosexuals are consider to be suave ladies men who keep up with trends in fashion and entertainment also.
