i have suspected my boyfriend to be gay/bi for the last few monts. i worked up the courage to finally ask him straight up if he was gay. he said "i'm not easy to categorize. i asked him what the hell that meant and he just kept saying how he has never been easy to categorize and then he just left. i'm really confused. i'm thinking he might be bi, which is not a big deal to me. what do you think he meant by what he said?

I'm tired of all the goddamn homophobic people who come to the LGBT of the site, and ask the most goddamn offensive questions and I'm tired of having to pull up with all the bullshit people have in real life?!

Is it THAT goddamn hard to know that most everyone in the world is a goddamn normal person and they arn't going to change for you?

I used to go here to help people out, and people had good questions, but all you homophobic people can go **** yourselfs. I'm tired of having to put up with this ****.

And watch, the first answer I'll get will be, "Ewwwww, that's sick, you're going to hell, etc!"

After answering a question in LGBT, Yahoo presents me with a list of questions under Religion & Spirituality. Then I have to find my way back to LGBT. Is Yahoo trying to change me? [grin] Does this happen to you, too? As a result of this, has anyone actually decided to become religious?

Recently, I seem to dress more and more like a man. My family tease me and say I am a cross dresser. Is this just style or could I be a gay girl? (I have kissed another girl and I liked it ok)

Do they put in as much effort as anyone else? Shouldn't the workplace be diverse? I'm not gay, but I believe in equality.

I have a question... How do people see questions that are posted in our form? Do they just go on here to see if anything sparks there intrest? Or is there a spot where every question is posted no matter what subject? Some of these people who answer, I go back into there previous questions and answers and it never says gay/lesbian/bi/transgender... So is this the first time they are here? Or do you think they are in here all the time just seeing what we talk about?

I know lots of people come here and bash on us, telling us we're sick and wrong. Of course the natural human response is to get hurt, angry and we try to debate our rights. We all want to stand up for ourselves, and we can't help but get defensive sometimes by insulting the person right back (you know what i'm talking about...the ones that come to our forum just to insult and bash us).So here's my question for you .Do you think that debating and insulting the enemy will change their minds?Calling them stupid right back will maybe see that they're wrong? Or do you think that it's only going to provoke their hate?Personally, I'm done debating.I belive that the only thing that will change people is their own peronal experiences, not us fighting them and insulting them right back. You know who you all are deep inside your hearts. I know it sucks when people put you down, but you don't really have to prove yourself to anyone.Just be a kind person and be true to yourself. Kill em with kindness

I met this young woman today(18), who informed me that she, and many other people from her college, choose not to vote.
I mean how shocking is that???
Her reasoning was that she thought politics was boring, and that her vote could not make a difference. What shocked me the most is the fact that she is a lesbian- please forgive me for sounding naive but, i just assumed that every gay person made a vote, right?!
Then, when I prompted her to tell me the party she would most likely consider, her response: CONSERVATIVE!!!
Can you believe it?
People, please tell me you vote. And for those of you who don't, tell me why.
Thank you.
Also, are there of you who vote conservative? do tell...

I met a man who wears a pair of pierced earrings and I fell in love with him. I'm not sure whether he is gay(or bisexual) or not. But I heard from a friend of mine that a man wearing earrings was gay or bisexual in America. I'm not familiar with such informations. Is he gay or bisexual? If so, can he be interested in women? Should I give up?
Please tell me your honest answer.

I know plenty of devout Christians, in fact quite a few entire Christian Churches that love and welcome gay and lesbian parishoners, even clergy.
I listened to Evangelical speakers discussing gay marriage, and they came away agreeing we deserve civil unions at a minimum, and always, respect as human beings.
my point is, your preacher may spit venom on gays and lesbians, but he is NOT CHRIST HIMSELF.
Ask yourself, What Would Jesus Do?
He sure wouldn't be protesting soldier's funerals to espouse God's wrath against America for coddling gays.

My view about this is a very long debate. Who really has the right to say it's wrong or even right? O.K. The bible mentions it's wrong and it's for a man & a women. It also says For who has not sin to cast the first stone as well, and it amazes me to see many christian judge gay & lesbian people because they are "GAY" but why? Are you to hate someone just because they believe in something different way or see it another way? I'm just trying to understand why people have to play GOD and pass judgement. There are many religious gay people as well just because your gay does not mean you don't have GOD in your life. I feel if you love someone as you would love some one of the other sex and commit to that one person for life to live with your partner as like of man & wife would be & already had God in your life Then if that is what you believe in your heart (by the way we have MANY DIFFERENT religions!) I feel it's You who needs to answer to GOD & NOT who want to play GOD...Just a view :o)

Gay people are the new faces of accepted discrimination.
Muslims and people of Arab descent are being targeted because of the events of 9/11/2001.
Iraq is being attacked because it was randomly chosen as the only country that is a breeding ground for terrorists and terrorism.

Does one group (or the majority) have to oppose another group (or the minority) in order to collect votes?

Don't gratifiy with a response. if they say something out of line, I've started reporting it as abuse under the harrassment reason. We come here to speak of problems and ask questions to members of the Lesbian GAY Bisexual Transgender and Allies not to defend ourselves, we do that enough already. To those who support I appreciate it. To those bible thumping and just being hateful, go to another section who might appreciate your views.
