I keep seeing references to a Gay Movement, but exclusively in a homophobic context (ie, "that's what the Gay Movement wants you to believe"). I've never heard of this group, but I'm really curious about it. Does it have a national headquarters? How about congressional lobbyists? A website? Is anyone out there a member, and could you provide me with some free bumper stickers?

Apparently the Gay Movement has something to do with pushing the Gay Agenda, which is another thing I'm curious about.

I'm pretty sure the Gay Movement that is responsible for the Gay Agenda is totally different from Gay Rights. Gay Rights is just about getting the same basic protections that are supposedly guaranteed to all citizens by the Constitution. The "Gay Movement" is apparently involved in some kind of subversion campaign; possibly trying to trick God-fearing Christians into "converting".
I think they may actually be in league with the Secret Jewish Cabal, the Pentavarit, and the Bavarian Illuminati. And Satan.

I believe there is a Gay rights "movement", as opposed to the mythical 'Gay Agenda' that most, if not all, homophobic and many fundamentalist xtians, often refer to. I've been trying to get a copy of "the" agenda for years and have yet to find one. Go figure.

To "Fr Chuck(les)":

You need to do some fact checking big boy. Your comments regarding state sanctioned same-sex marriage are incorrect; in fact, most of your reply is what gives your people such a great reputation for being so ill-informed and hate-mongering. But again, that's the business you're in, isn't it. I personally thank you, and others of your ilk, for your spurious information regarding our fight for equal status. If it weren't for your hate-filled messages we wouldn't have gotten this far in our struggle.

Best Wishes!

I am gay, and I also agree there are some homosexuals that use unproven ideas to simplify or justify their own agenda without consideration for the masses. They tend to want the masses to agree with them. It becomes like brain washing. They have used children and adults to get their points across. Yes with any subject you will have your group of people that can only see their own view as correct, insist they are correct and demand equal rights based on their beliefs. People are not born gay. Children can be influenced and have forgotten memories. Some adults choose the homosexual lifestyle. The major issue is when a child reached puberty, the child resist often because of the non acceptance, many children become homophobic because they can not believe they have those feelings. It becomes their own personal protection.
The gay movement tends to say to them it is not your business, when it has already become their business. True some religious people cry out that they do not want such influence and that does not only create homosexual. Experiences forgotten also happen. Influence is a course all it's own. There will always be gay people. So they should have some protection, but sadly the mental health system denied them this.

Historically the "Gay Movement" really got it's start after the Stonewall Riots of June 1969 in Greenwich Village NYC. After which the Anniversary of the riot was celebrated the following year with a parade. It then grew in to what we now know as gay pride month with parades in most every major city in the world!

Well, if you want a complete representation of the LIES that the Right wing tell others just peruse fr Chuck. He does a good job of showing exactly what kind of absolute bulldookey they love to spew and still call themselves Christians.
The "Gay Movement" is nothing more than a system of groups that represent "us" in Civil Rights issues such as Employment, Housing, recognition of Relationships, parenting rights and responsibilities, and so forth. Among such groups (if you are interested) are the Human Rights Campaign and others such as GLAAD.
People Like Chuck enjoy portraying themselves as being "forced" to "accept" homosexuals, and I suppose that if you mean that they don't have the right to simply fire them, kick them out of their apartments and homes, attempt to force them into brainwashing "conversion" clinics, refuse them public aid and other such things, yes they are "forced" to accept "us".
They enjoy portraying homophobia as standing up for Morals when HATE is not a Moral Value. They enjoy breaking their own biblical tenets in opposing homosexuals, most notably Bearing False Witness.

They conitnue to quote God but know nothing about Him at all.

Historically, I think it would be better called the "Gay Liberation Movement." It calls for an end to discrimination against gays and lesbians in employment, housing, child rearing, etc. Type in "Gay Liberation Movement" and you will get more and better hits on the internet.

The LGBT community simply wants the same rights and protections under the law as everybody else.

I'M English,so you will have to forgive my forthright manner, there is no such word as gay,gay means happy, carefree, i have never met a happy and carefree homosexual, the hi jacking of this very English of all English words gets my annoyance,. if you justify the act of of homosexuality,by changing its name to a label that has the connotations of happiness are you not condoning the act of homosexuality, sure some homosexuals will come on and say we are happy, whats wrong with calling myself gay, if they were that happy about being a homosexual they would not want to change the name of their practice, would they,I'm heterosexual always have been i have never wanted to change my label, is that homosexual gets to the root of their practice succinctly.
to answer your question; don't call yourself gay ,you are a homosexual, be proud of it ,practice it, be happy in your life. join up with other homosexuals, in a movement that is nationwide and has branches in every town, try yellow pages.

It is made up of varoius gay right groups, that have an overall plan to force thier lifestyle upon America.

but it is losing, since gay marriage has been voted out of every state where it has been allowed.

It is made up of the people who use the ACLU in its meaningless law suits to try and scare people.

As for as name calling, homophobic is merley a name used to mean good God fearing people who want America to have proper moral values, it is a proud name.
unlike the moralphobic who are scared of people with morals and wish to call them names.
