I broke up with her about a month ago after a sixteen month long relationship. She wants another chance, but I don't know. She hurt me tremendously and althought I still care about her, I don't think I love her nearly as much as I once thought I did. We got a long great, talked a lot about feelings, wants, needs, ect. I told her on several occasions I just didn't feel like she appreciated me. For instance, I did what I feel was darned near everything for her. Anytime I went to her house I cooked, did dishes, laundry, cleaned, and took care of things while she mostly did nothing. I bought groceries a lot and helped pay her bills when I was able. When she came to my place she said she felt like she was on vacation. She never recipracated on any of the things I did for her. I felt lucky if she'd even take me to McDonald's. She never wanted to go out or do anything. Her idea of a good time was sex and sleeping the day away. I was open about how I felt, but nothing ever changed.

There's this guy from Queer Eye, the food guy, who at least to me is straight-acting. I can't remember his name, but he wears glasses, has dark brown hair, fair skin, and beautiful blue eyes. He's sometimes a judge on Iron Chef America. He's openly gay, but you wouldn't know he's gay, at least not to me. I'm straight. Is it possible to pick out a gay person, even if they're straight-acting?

Just out of curiousity, what do you do for a living? Do your sexual orientation or transition to another gender ever cause some sort of conflict in your workplace or classroom? I'm studying Liberal Arts to become a literary agent, and most people studying in this department are a lot more accepting than most. I work with computers in my job, so I have no contact with other people at work.

Why is it that if a gay couple hold hands or, God forbid, kisses that some people accuse them of flaunting their sexuality? Are straight people 'flaunting' their sexuality when they hold hands or kiss? No one is throwing anything in anyone's face--you have a neck use it. If it offends you, don't gawk. What do you think?

I just overheard a conversation one of my relatives was having with someone, in which she claims that homosexuals should not have the right to adopt children. If you share this view, please tell me why. Intelligent and rational answers please. (If you post any homophobic remarks here, I will report you.)

I don't think they are,I think its an amazing life style to go with. I don't think that being a woman has something to do with carring a purse, wearing lip gloss all the time, and going out shoping. Some of you may have a different opinoin, but this opinion right here is my thoughts on how I feel about tomboys. I realy think that a little mixture of some girlie girl and some tomboy is the perfect woman for a man....well thats what I think. Some people seem to think that tomboys are lesbians because of the way they dress or if they want to leave all the drama behind and hang with some guys. Isn't a lesbian a woman who's attracted to the same sex, shouldn't some people know that? I know some lesbians and they are complete girlie girls.

I remember seeing a documentry one time where one lesbian had decided to have a sex change and her partner was having a terrible time because she defined herself as a lesbian and did not know if she loved the person and if the body made that much difference or if defining herself as gay meant the relationship was over. Her thought processes were very interesting to me in wondering why most people go by first the physical attraction than the attraction to the person rather than the personal attraction than attraction to the physical.

Most of what is in print seems to demand a rigid gay or straight orientation, but why don't we hear more about bisexuals? Are their numbers really that small? Are they a 3rd group afraid to come out of the closet?

I have never really met anyone who openly defines themself as bisexual and I am seeking serious answers.

Why are gay people so nosey? Why do they take everything so personally too? Are they more sensitive than straight people?

I am straight. I don't go around discussing my activity between the sheets - or walking around saying, "What are you looking at? Yes, I'm straight!" I'm sorry - I just DON'T GET IT - please help me understand why "gayness" must be FLAUNTED!

I am only 14 and I am not too sure about how I feel about either sex. should I wait to decide to be gay, or staright untill I am older. I think I like guys but I feel like guys aren't attracted to me, and I think that girls would be more attracted to me than guys.
I also have a gay aunt, who has a really nice partner and a wonderful little daughter, so do you think I should talk to her about that now, or wait untill I'm older? And do you think I should just wait on relationships of either sex untill I'm older?

Please help, and I am being really serious right now, so please, not nasty remarks. thnx

By the way, I am not homosexual, I am striaght, just curious, don't get offended please.

My family is having enough trouble accepting one of my cousins (technically second cousin), is not straight, so should just go on pretending to have no interest in either gender forever? Only person that knows the truth is my cousin, and she will not tell anyone...

I have been with my husband for nearly 7yrs and find it erotic to imagine being with him and a female at the same time. I would also like to be with a woman by myself. (Is it selfish for me to really want this?) I was with a woman long before I met my husband and I'm not looking to replace him... just wanna fill this craving and desire I have!
Would it be cheating if I was with a woman by myself and my husband knew about it before it happened? He has no problem with me wanting other women, not sure if this seems right though.

Guess what I really want to know is if there is something wrong with him for being fine with the idea or is it a healthy thought for him to have? I have not acted on my desire yet because I'm not sure if he really could handle it, he's a very jealous person when men even talk to me....I just don't know, help!!!!!!

i'm a fourth year college student. now, i always see this guy when im still on my 2nd year. he is handsome. i assume many college girls have a crush on him.

on my third year, i found out that we have the same college course and then circumstances in my school made him my classmate.

i said to myself, wow what a coincidence, now i have the opportunity to be his friend and somehow we will get to know each other. but nothing of tha happened. he is a shy guy and always sticks to his friends only. and im not the type who can put up a good conversation

from what i've heard, he still doesnt have a girlfriend, and that made me wonder. with his good looks, he can easily have one. if i can be in his position i will take advantage of my looks.

everytime a girl introduces herself to him, i always wish that he will not take her seriously i only want him for myself.

im not yet out, in my family or in school. im not even sure if im gay, because sometimes, im also attracted to women.

Hi,
I consider myself a very emotional person. I often joke that I was "built for monogamy" and it's true. I see such a portrayal of the gay male lifestyle as promiscuous and parties and stuff. I don't want that life at all. I want to find one guy who is right for me and give everything to him, devote myself to him. I guess what I am asking is, are there gay male couples out there and how long do they last? I have already gone through heartbreak and I have this unappealing image in my head of "Me in 10 years", an aging old "queen" with lots of lovers who has settled down with no one and is all alone.
