I am a straight Christian (does a pre-conceived notion of the kind of person I am pop up in your mind?) who believes that the act of homosexuality is a sin, not because I want it to be, but because the Word of God says it is (see Romans1:22-27). I do not hate sinners. I am one. So my question is, do you hate me?

Since this format does not allow for debate, I do not seek answers focusing on the veracity of the Bible (a pertinent but separate and altogether complex issue), but rather the seemingly ironic "Christian-phobia" among many in the gay community, which is rooted in the same kind of prejudice that homophobia is.

From the Texan Republican Party Platform for 2004.

Homosexuality-- The party believes that the practice of sodomy tears at the fabric of society, contributes to the breakdown of the family unit and leads to the spread of dangerous communicable diseases.

Homosexual behavior is contrary to the fundamental, unchanging truths that have been ordained by God, recognized by our country’s founders and shared by the majority of Texans.

Homosexuality must not be presented as an acceptable “alternative” lifestyle in our public education and policy, nor should “family” be redefined to include homosexual “couples”.

We are opposed to any granting of special legal entitlements, recognition of privileges including, but not limited to, marriage between persons of the same sex, custody of children by homosexuals, homosexual partner insurance or retirement benefits.

We oppose criminal penalties or civil penalties against those who oppose homosexuality out of faith, conviction, or belief in traditional values.

“We pray God Bless Texas. God bless the U.S.A. God bless us all!”

I myself am not homosexual. But I find it weird why some people choose to discrimate against homosexuals. What's so wrong with them that people have to judge so harshly against them? I want to see from the other side.

I love it. Religions just pick and choose what they want to believe and they cant stand it when people have logical arguments against them. The hate will eventually die off and people will accept others for who they are. We better enjoy the misguided biggots while we still can!

I have seen more then a few very funny or truthful bumper stickers that I've liked. So what are your favorites? They can be GLBTQ related or just anything you have seen and made you laugh or think.

Good ones I've seen lately:

"Dear God please protect me from your followers."

"Jesus is coming... look busy."

"Stop honking, I'm reloading."

"Is it 2008 yet?"

"Campaign Spending: $184,000,000.
Having your little brother rig the election for you: Priceless."

"If You Are Not Outraged You Are Not Paying Attention."

"I Voted and All I Got Was This Lousy President."

"51% Angel, 49% B i t c h. Don't Push It!"

"Sorry I missed church, but I was busy practicing witchcraft and being bisexual."

"If gay people are given civil rights then everyone will want them."

"I'm smiling, that alone should scare you."

"Humpty Dumpty was PUSHED."

LOL, so fun.

It seems that all people care about is sex. Every time you start to chat with someone, GAY or Straight, they chat a few minutes and jump right into sex. Where are freinds and non sexual relationships? I'm not looking to a ses romp with everyone out there, why is everyone else.

Any bi-curious boys ever experiment with a dildo? As a fantasy? Explain. Alone or with others? More than once? Did you enjoy? Whose was it? Did you try the real thing next? Would you suggest it for bi-curious boys?

A married heterosexual cannot use that excuse to justify adultery. Folks are born with a lot of immoral desires--conjures up the concept of "original sin", doesn't it?

I'm just curious about how many of you out there have had relationships that all started on the net.

I've found that it's not easy in this society to meet other gay/lesbian/bi/transgendered folks, and I've had my fair share of relationships that got their start online, so I wondered if this were the case for a lot of you out there.

I'm currently in a relationship with someone I met the first week of college 11 years ago, so this one didn't get its start online, but I've had 4 or 5 that did.

Feel free to share your stories! As always, thank you for those of you with sincere responses. To anyone else, feel free to leave your rude comments and they will be disregarded here just like they are when you leave them on other peoples' questions.

I'm Bisexual and I've been with more girls than guys. SO I'm thinking about becoming a Lesbian. But I don't know how to ask a girl out or even become there friend. What do I talk to that person about? Or how do I know what to do when I want to talk to a Girl.

Girls always come to me. Their the ones that make the first move. So now it's my turn to do it. What do I say to a Girl or to become their friend or whatever?

Tell us in your own words how you really feel about Christians who accept you as a person, but detest what you do in your own bedrooms behind closed doors?

Does that still make you feel like you're being judged?
