hey guys, just wanted ask you some questions on bar mitzwah. these questions are directed to jewish people who have witnessed or have had their bar/bat mitzwahs.

1) what are the preparations that your family made for the success of your bar/bat mitzwah?
2)is having your bar/bat mitzwah special or important to you?
3) is it mandatory to have a bat/bar mitzwah?
4) can you describe the ceremony? Do you feel any different after having your bat/bar mitzwah?

you don't have to answer ALL of these questions...just a few or even one, it doesn't matter.

Okay so basically..i c a big double standard.

Asians, indians, and even white people lighten there skin and it is just seen as another beauty regimen.

but when a black person lighten there skin it is a disgrace?

isn't it the same thing as whites wanting that golden tan?? SOme will fry themselves until it reaches that color..KNOWING that they will eventually turn back to the original color?

What is the big deal..?? Why is there such a stigma on black folks who lighten?

I'm black by the way..just asking out of curiosity??

A father was at the beach with his children when his four-year old son ran up to him, grabbed his hand, & led him to the shore, where a seagull lay dead in the sand. "Daddy, what happened to him?" the son asked. "He died & went to Heaven," the dad replied. The boy thought a moment & then said, "Did God throw him back down?"

A Sunday school class was studying the Ten Commandments. They were ready to discuss the last one. The teacher asked if anyone could tell her what it was. Susie raised her hand, stood tall, & shouted, "Thou shall not take the covers off thy neighbor's wife."

At Sunday School they were teaching how God created everything, including human beings. Little Johnny, a child in the kindergarten class, seemed especially intent when they told him how Eve was created out of one of Adam's ribs. Later in the week his mother noticed him lying as though he was ill, & asked, "Johnny what is the matter?" Little Johnny responded, "I have a pain in my side. I think I'm going to have a wife!"

This last one is out of the mouth of my co-workers 3-year old son Reese: "Our father, who does art in heaven, Howard is his name...."

Ive been with my girlfriend for a year. and I am IN love with her, I want to marry her, she gives me butterflies, and im very attracted to her. The thing is I also think that im bisexual. Ive never been with a guy and never plan to be (because I plan on being with my gf forever and I dont plan to cheat) shes the only person I've ever told. and she flipped out when I told her. I mean screaming, crying, broke up with me (for a day, then we got back together) I told her about a month ago and now shes been acting all weird. She said that she heard that guys cant just be "bi" and that bi guys are just gay guys who havent realized it or are afraid. but I really am attracted to her! cant she obviosuly see that when we have sex? (not to be crude...but come on) she also said that she is wprroed that if we get married then I might suddenly one day, in 10 years, realize that I am actually gay and leave her. who said that guys cant be bi?! because I know Im attracted to her!

and quite a lot of articles writen by a lady doctor by the name of Doctor Elizabeth Kubler Ross. Dr Ross received her medical degree from the University of Zurich in 1957. She then moved to New York and studied psychiatry and became Assistant Professor
of Psychiatry. She truly believes anyone born
badly disabled, has been here before and is now doing their karma. The only thing they are allowed to bring with them, is something they done in their former life, like paint or play a musical instrument. I found her book very interesting we have someone in the uk and he thinks the same. Glen Hoddle he is well known and was in all the newspapers with his believes not that long ago.

Black people with sense dont hide criminals, dont marry thugs, dont put their familys and careers on the line for a criminal (ie the stereotype that blacks dont snitch)

I mean when are people going to stop lumping us together. They dont do this with any other race. When a white person or asian person does some thing no one asks "is the whole race like that also?"

My mom told me that her mom said we had some White people in our family during those times and Also my grandmother have small Lips or thin and She have Bowrn Skin color. I think I'm muti-Racial and also My family to. Plus My father told me along time ago that he have Chrokee Indain blood in him and he light skin to jsut like me.
