It might refer to the 8th Day Center For Justice. It's a Catholic lay organization headquartered in Chicago which is involved in several progressive, political issues. I checked out their web site and they appear to be a counter-balance to Opus Dei which is a very conservative Catholic lay movement.

Never heard of people being referred to an 8. Now for me tomorrow will feel like the 8th day because everything will seem different or somehow unusual since so many people are off work and the week has changed. If that makes sense?

If you're refering to an earlier question; The lady was refering to a numerical day of the month , and the two events weren't necessarily in the same month (i.e July 8 and December 8).
She apparently felt that this was significant.
Otherwise, the only other negative reference I can think of is getting caught "behind the 8 ball".

I saw something about the 8th Day Center for Justice. Sounds like a group promoting social changes or another Peace movement. Didn't seem very dangerous.

In numerology the #8 has certain meanings and in astrology the eighth house has certain meanings. One of the meanings in astrology is the house dealing with death and reincarnation. How this applies to what you are asking I'm not sure but that is all I could come up with. If you want to know more try the web sites below.

The meaning of certain numbers is for your deal or no deal type thing. If a good looker walks by and you say they are an8 ,that's pretty good.If you say they are a 5 ,not so good.It just goes according to the nicer the bod,the higher the number, the lower the number, the not so nice one and so forth.Get it?

There was a lady who said that her childhood abuser finally died & he was born on the 8th & died on the 8th so she knew he was coming back. I just tried going back to find that question (I believe it was listed as obituary)but I couldn't find it. I don't understand either. I'm sorry I didn't ask her at the time.
