store here doesn't open til 5 - but i'll be there before that to stand in line for 2 "can't miss" items
I hate it but if I don't they'll all be gone.
worked at walmart for 5 1/2 yrs - swore i would never ever shop on black friday - but if i don't go at 5 then i won't get what i want for the price i'm willing to pay

Standing in the cold morning air, and wishing you were back
home in bed, is not the way I'd care to start my day. No mat-
ter how many dollars I'd save.
I can't see being sleep deprived is the thing to do in order
to start shopping for Christmas early either. No when I shop
I get in and out fast, and I don't like having to fight off other
customers trying to grab onto a shirt at the same time or do
some unnecessary bin diving all because I'm guaranteed a
discount. I hate crowds as well, the more older I get. So I'll
just wait and take my chances with the rest of the late shopp-
ers. Or maybe I won't go into any of the dept. stores this year.
If we decide to bake or make food items, there won't be the
need for any hustle and bustle or crowds or crowding. Hey,
I kind of like the sound of that. Don't you?

I saw on the news that over 100 people are already lined up at Best Buy and have been there all day. That is not for me. I am just not much of a shopper. Fortunately, I do not have to buy a lot of gifts. Maybe I would feel differently if I spent big bucks on gifts.

Not me, I've never went that early, but I'm not a big shopper either. One of the larger malls here were starting their sales at midnight tonight and some of the younger family members said today that they were going to be there.

Only a serious threat of death would get me anywhere near anything that even slightly resemble a store.
I don't even plan on leaving my house.
Simply don't understand it. I shop all year, starting the days after Christmas when the sales are terrific...and I shop all year. If finished the middle of October. The only things I have to get are gift certificates and some stocking stuffer...neither require a visit to a mall...... Such Freedom.

No i am actually waking up at 4 a.m. to go shopping in the morning. Me and my boyfriends mom and some of her friends. We think that it is so much fun. Its a tradition. We think that it is fun to fight over things and wait in the lines. I dont know, i guess i sounds dumb but we always have a blast.

I have several "girl friends" that have too much time on their hands and too much money in their wallets and they are planning to do the 4:00 AM insanity! Hey! If we were all alike, it would be a pretty dull old world in which to live!!!!!!!!
Me? I'll be asleep safe and sound in my bed until 10:00 AM - retired folks don't do the alarm thing any more!

Not me! I heard this afternoon that some of the outlet stores will be opening at midnight tonight! I don't like shopping and I despise those black friday crowds.

I wouldn't go shopping tomorrow if they were almost giving the stuff away. I only shop when I really have to and then I try to go at times when it is not crowded.
