I am about 2% through, and wish I could get a hurry on. Next week I really have to get it done.

DONE!!!

Finished up last month. Only thing left? 2 gift certificates and a few stocking stuffer.

I shop all year starting the days after Christmas...take advantage of sales all year. I truly hate to shop and rarely go anywhere just to shop - except for groceries.

I also have all my cookies done and in the freezer.

I enjoy the holidays so much....decorating the house, visiting, cooking for friends, etc. Getting done early leaves me with plenty of time to really enjoy family, friends and the ambience that comes with the season.

One of my favorite things is taking the High Speed Line from my town in South Jersey to Center City Philadelphia. Oh, the stores windows are so beautiful and the lower floor atriums are gorgeous. I can spend all day simply enjoying the Christmas displays and never have to wait in line.

We haven't even begun. We have to wait til hubby can do
some painting jobs to bring in a little extra money in order
to buy some things. We'll probably go the food route again
this year. Making baked goods and buying some others and
putting it all into a basket or box. They are too overworked
and buy as they need things. So food is always appreciated.
Especially when they eat out alot and do little cooking. They
are too hard to buy for, even with big ticket items. So when
people have everything they need, food always works.

We don't have much money this year, but I ordered my husband a flat screen monitor. He's been wanting one for a long time. It's 22"! That otta make him happy! It makes me happy to be able to afford one for him. I'm done with my granddaughter. Have two grandsons to shop for. Then phots and cards and a summary of our year. We never put the Christmas tree away so all we need to do is decorate it! LOL

I pick up a few things throughout the year if I think someone will like them. My family lives in different areas, so we decided not to send gifts this year. When we can get together we'll go out to eat or do something special then instead. So I only have to get gifts for a few friends now.

75% done! I like to start in Oct. because I never know what the weather is going to be like in Nov. and Dec. I'm not about to risk life and limb driving over the mountians in a snow storm to go shopping. The stores are an hour away in good weather!

Almost done! I shop all year for Christmas gifts. If I see something I know someone would like and it is a good price, I buy it and save it til Christmas. Then I pray that I remember where I put it!

Zero, zip, nada. I am going on a short cruise next week. When I get back I'll start. I like to do Christmas things closer to Christmas anyway. I get more into the spirit of the holidays.

I-this year-am the person I always hated. I always make all my Christmas presents, so while I was in the Christmas mood, I got busy-was done by the end of April. Kids, grand kids, brothers and sister all got afghans.

Done. Throughout the year when I see something someone will like, I buy it then & put it in a drawer until Xmas.
