One evening Joe says to his wife Linda, hey maybe you should wash your underwear in Slim Fast--in might take a few inches of yer butt! He chuckles and thinks he is realllly funny. Linda just sits and ignores it. Next morning Ol Joe gets a pair of shorts out of his drawer and shakes 'em out--poof there is a cloud of dust. He hollers, Linda why did you put talcum powder in my shorts? She answers calmly--I didn't--it's Miracle Grow. Is she a great wife or what??

Would you agree that you think every question is being asked from your own perspective?

Maybe we should check out where the asker is before we give out information. One I see a lot is regarding the age of consent.

It's 16 here (UK) and younger in other places. I worry when I see youngsters being told they face jail for having sex with a 16 year old.

And I'm surprised too. I seem to recall us giving Jerry Lee Lewis a hard time because his wife was 13.

But I digress. I think before we give out what we think are facts we need to take into account that facts are different in different places. :)

When a casual aquaintence makes an innocent comment at a party that is really insulting and offensive to you and your feelings are deeply hurt. Do you just over look it and let it slide? Or do you speak up and take the chance of starting an argument? I am half Native American Indian on my mother's side and proud of it. I am not a savage, blood thirsty, redskin bas_ard!

My day has started out quite nicely: 2 violations in the space of 5 hrs. I wonder if I'll match the 5, I got the other day?
At this rate I'll be the president of the violators club in no time.

Today I uttered those immortal words I vowed never to do. Chatting to 2 of my grandchildren, I said "When I was your age".
I can't remember how we got to talking about hair, but they didn't believe me when I said boys and girls used to have their hair parted on different sides, boys one side, girls the other.

Was it a myth my grandparents conjured up or was it true, if so, which side?

If anyone dares to say I'm dotty, blame it on the germs I'm fighting with.

Whats up everybody...here is the deal...i would like everybodys input on this... I have a friend who is gay (white female) she shows me all these films about gay bashing and talks about how people hate gays and stuff, so then I show her roots and googled Emit Til for her and she wants to argue with me that gay people have it worse than black people...is she serious? Who here agrees that gays have it worse than ANY race when it comes to racism, because I certainly dont. I just find it so crazy that she would actually argue with me over that... Come on chic...being gay isnt sh** these days,....everybody is gay now a days.... anywayz..please comment.. Thank You!

So what? Is the world suddenly going to end? Will the sky fall in? Will the four horsemen of the apocolypse ride in and end it all? No! Life will continue as normal. We will all still go to work/school and continue loving who we love. Last time I checked, we lived in a democratic society, which allows us free will, so even if we did "choose" this lifestyle, what business is it of your's? I don't tell you how to live your life, do I?

I am asking it cause I find it a double standard. I agree nooses and burning crosses are a symbol of hatred (and as such blacks dont go around burning crosses). But how can you say the N word is a hate symbol and then use it all the time among them??
