Hi Folks,

Firstly, I am anti-racist, and having lived in quite a few corners of the world, and I am somewhat dismayed at some minority White Brit. attitudes

However it is a concern that I hear of today of the existance of a Black Police Association.

Fair play in the areas of promoting more non-white Officers, and their welfare in doing a diffcult job.

But, and perhaps a significant "but", If there was the formation of a "White Police Association", then we are going down the dodgy road of segregation, which defeats the whole notion of integration and ethnic tolerance amongst us.

More light-heartedly, I recently filled in a trivial form that asked me for origon.
I ticked the "ethnic minority" box, filled it in as being a Geordie, which I am, and it was duly returned telling me to tick the "White Brit" box.

All opinions thankfully received.

Genes are only spread when people reproduce, so if homosexuality is genetic, how does it still exist? It doesn't really seem to follow the principles of Darwinism.

I always spend time analyzing everything wondering if they are possibly gay when in reality they are most likely straight. It also makes it hard to listen to the professor.

I dont understand why nature made people gay. My theory is it is the way the brain developed. It makes perfect sense, the attraction towards people is all in the brain. Differnt circumstances imprinted the brain into liking the same gender. Bi people are Bi because there brain is attracted towards both genders.

What do you think, does what I say make sense to you people.

indians discriminate against each other based on pretty much any available criteria race, religion, caste, community language, dressing style, region, sex, culture, food....anything we can think of. , why is it that we are so well integrated but still segregated on invisible lines.

we pride ourself on being multi ethnic and multi racial but at the same time many (esp in the villages) are brought up in they're own comfort zones. im happy that my generation is breaking many of the barriers but the north easterns are still isolated because of they're indo-chinese (mongoloid features)

I have been thinking that it might be possible that memory cells are in the hair color.
this seems possible since the more color i lose from my hair, the worse my memory becomes.

It's Pride Month this December here in the Philippines, we're throwing a Pride Party in line with this year's pride march. We're stumped on what the name/title of the party is going to be though. Any suggestions? Thanks!:)

Three old guys are out walking. First one says, "Windy, isn't it?" Second one says, "No, its Thursday!" Third one says, "So am I. Let's go get a beer."

A man was telling his neighbor, "I just bought a new hearing aid. It cost me four thousand dollars, but it's state of the art. It's
perfect." "Really," answered the neighbor. "What kind is it?"

Morris, an 82 year-old man, went to the doctor to get a physical. A few days later the doctor saw Morris walking down the street with a gorgeous young woman on his arm. A couple of days later the doctor spoke to Morris and said, "You're really doing great, aren't you?" Morris replied, "Just doing what you said, Doc. Get a hot mamma and be cheerful." The doctor said, "I didn't say that. I said, "You've got a heart murmur. Be careful." (bada boom)

My mother particularly was very superstitious. No tossing food to one another outside at night or a ghost might catch it, you'll eat it and get sick. I thought of this when I was going to toss an apple to my brother as he was getting into his car and he stopped me, walked back and got it. Still listening to her after all these years.

I know this isn't a LGBT issue. However, some people say that same sex marriage will lead to this. If it does, would you be okay with it or against it?

If you don't know what polygamy is, just go to the next question. (Yes, someone won't know what it is.)

i can pretty much have a good conversation with other people, but it doesnt work with her....

(she's bi, and im in the closet, but i think she knows i am since ive shown some hints)

i asked her out before. she said yes but never called. the date has passed, so i decided to be over her, but days later she approached me..she even opened up to me about her problems...but then we have nothing to talk about after...she never really asked questions (i didnt also coz i was always listening)...but she just stayed there despite the silence....

i dont know if i should invest emotionally for her...ive seen her with guys...i dont know...is this all worth it?

I don't understand this. I am not a racist person, and I don't say anything when they decide to date out of their race. It's like a double standard. This guy told me that my boyfriend was not quote unquote "hitting my a** right." What's up with that and I how can i stop this kind of behavior. You love who you love.

I am 16, gay and single. I have had a little experience with other guys, but I'm looking for other gay teens. Mainly I am looking for a another guy that I can talk with or have a relationship with. I know some people out there think I'm too young, but I'm not. I'm also in the closet right now so I'm a little afraid to be actively gay in my community. Thanks in advance for the advice and if anyone wants to talk email me to talk or for my aim.

my daughters boyfriend will be visiting us for the first time tomorrow
he is a 17 year old wheel chair bound young man
we are very excited at meeting him , but I have some worries ( as does he )
we live in a first floor flat with stairs and he has been putting off the visit for quite some time now
I thought perhaps that he couldnt manage the stairs , but he admitted tonight to it being embarressment because he will have to ( in his words ) bum it up the stairs
I dont want him to be embarressed , I want him to feel at ease with us....
but how can I help him without patronising him or making him feel uncomfortable
do I offer to help him ?
I dont want to see him struggle with the stairs ... but I know he is stubborn also
and my home isnt wheelchair friendly ... any tips on what to rearrange or look out for ?
I just want him to enjoy being here and feel accepted into the family
thank you in advance xx
