yes, dancing is good. The great Rebbe, Baal Shem Tov, who founded the chasidic movement, held that to rejoice in a spiritual experience through singing and dancing is a good thing, a very good thing. Observant Jews do not dance however, with the opposite sex, because of the sexual connotations and attractions.... that would divert ones attention from the spiritual. It would seem logical that a gay or lesbian person should therefore avoid dancing with the same sex......
