I don't understand this. I am not a racist person, and I don't say anything when they decide to date out of their race. It's like a double standard. This guy told me that my boyfriend was not quote unquote "hitting my a** right." What's up with that and I how can i stop this kind of behavior. You love who you love.

I know what you mean but not all black men do that. Im a black womanwho has always dated white men including my current boyfriend, and I have had my own share of the hating form some of those black men. I say that the men who think that way are simply jealous, Insecure and racist too! If anyone disagrees with me, then they are IN DENIAL! I dont stare at those black men when they are with nonblack women, so I should be getting the same energy back, but NO, NOT HERE IN AMERICA... the land of racists!

Not all black men get mad about this. The truth is somebody somewhere will get upset over any interracial relationship, no matter what the races of the two people involved are. You just have to ignore people like that. Your relationship is between you and the other person, what someone else says to you doesn't matter.

I think a lot of it is that some black men feel that black women should only date black men, but they can date whoever they like. The idea is that black women need to preserve the black race. I would say this is bulls**t and you should date who you want to.

i've got one word for ya, america. it is only really from there that i've found that kinda tension (to that degree anyway) i mean if you go to montreal you'll find that it's almost prerequisite that if you're white your other is black and no one really pays it any mind. how to stop it? simply put, you can't. that their opinion and like or not they are entitled to it, just tune it out. there are things you can help and some things you can't and my dear that's one of the can'ts. you'll find that most people reflect where they come from, me i'm from T.O (or toronto for those who don't know) and i've seen all manner of interesting things and there are bigger issues than who you spend your time with to worry about but that's just me

That's true. You love who you love. It should not be anyone business. But, some folks, try to make it their business. I would have thought that dating and mixing of the races, is acceptable.

But, I guess it never, will be for some.

The black guys are probably jealous of what your man has... i mean they really get jealous if you are good-looking then they go wonder "man why i aint got that".. well maybe if they approach us in a decent manner other than yelling and saying AY! Or sup shawty whats your number... then maybe they would get a chance. but just because you're not with them, dont throw it in their face that would be kind of offensive dont you think.
