1) Being gay is not natural. Real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, and air conditioning.

2) Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.

3) Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behaviour. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract.

4) Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn't changed at all; women are still property, blacks still can't marry whites, and divorce is still illegal.

5) Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Britney Spears's 55-hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed.

6) Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn't be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren't full yet, and the world needs more children.

7) Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children.

8) Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That's why we have only one religion in America.

9) Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. That's why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.

10) Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms. Just like we haven't adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans.

Hopefully, non Americans can answer this.

Does familiarity breed contempt? Or is it just that weve run out of ideas, and once that happens, people start to get bored with you after awhile. The Japanese used to use Western actors and musicians to be spokesmen for their products, and it was considered stylish, but now they like using other Asian stars. Does this and other things signal the fall of Western Civilization? I think its a very telling sign.

I know alot of people are fed up with America because of its policies, but something tells me its not just the policies anymore, its us. Our music and films are becoming more similar to the world and the world is becoming closer to us, and we meet in the mediocre middle. So theres not much separation anymore.

We dropped a freakin atomic bomb on Japan and 30-40 years later they practically worshipped Americans, pretty remarkable.

I don't want to seem like a whore, because you'de have to sleep with someone else to achieve that accomplishment. I love my girlfriend, even though we don't have a very good relationship.

But she's the first and only firl i've been with since i've came out. She's adamant that we're going to be together forever. I want time to explore other options, how can I tell her that without breaking her heart? or do I not tell her? I don't know what to do, Help

what would you do if you were in the position of Jack Twist? you know feeling something and not being afraid to admit to Ennis, and only hearing an unsure response back from him.
was it right for him to move on?
Im asking this because this movie sheds light on what ive got with my best friend. Its like 99% carbon copied- minus the rustic theme. So what would you do in situation like this? I can tell you think, with him I dont feel like its a gay relationship its more than that, we have this bond, and trust, just like Greek Love.

I dont have problems meeting women. Infact Ive had a couple girlfriends, and yes a lot of opportunity to have sex. The problem is I havent taken them. Ive been brought up catholic, and think premartial sex is dirty, and subconsciously define the act of "sex" as with exclusive between a man and a woman. I bring this up because I dont have problems getting oral sex from men. For me, Im just having fun and not participating in it.. (SAD, and Illogical, but thats how I think of it) Ive had oral sex from women as well. Both I find good but its very easy to find a gay dude whos willing to do the deed. Also, with the STDs these days, its almost a life and death situation who youd sleep with. Believe me I tried hard to fix my way of thinking but its hard to go against your grain. So im wondering if all this mental inhibitions in my mind would turn me gay soon. What do you think? I dont mean any offense to any gay person. Im just asking for advice. thanks!

I don't think dating and/or having sex constitutes a monogamous relationship unless it is specifically agreed to by both parties. I know some disagree, but at what point should you presume/or not.

If an owner of a yahoo group transefers ownership of a group to one or more of his/her moderators can that former owbner make a claim to Yahoo that they are the owner of the group they had transfered ownership over to and have Yahoo remove the said group. I was asked the question from a freind last night and I honestly think that the pervious owner doesn't have any kind of say over the group once they've transferred their ownership over to someone else.

I know a man (both in the intimate and every-day sense) who thinks that he can tell by looking at another man if that man is hetero or homosexual. Can you tell by their dress, hairstyle, manner of speech, etc? Is this a man thing? A man may look completely average to me and this man insits that he can tell. He has taken a class on homophobia for his field of work substance abuse counseling), but I dont think that qualifies him, although there was a majority of the course population was homosexual.

God damn, i don't like this at all, i feel so much hatred than i'm ****** cramping. Please convince me that they don't mean it, or they are just a small part of my home country because i have lots of white friends and i am confused about them now.

I am in a relationship with a guy and I have always been bi-curious and wanted to experience a another girl, but in my fantasy it was me and the girl with him watching or me with the girl and him behind me. And he was fine with that. But he now talks about wanting to have me and another girl but he wants to give it to her but doesn't want me to have another man but him. Then he says "Well, I don't think I would have a problem with you with another guy. Which I think is crap that he is saying to bring me to submit and let him have intercourse with another girl. I honestly do not want him giving another girl the same pleasure as he gives to me and he truly does not want me to recieve the same pleasure from a man other than him. I think it is not the same for a girl to be with a girl (no penetration), just like I could not do to him what a man could, if he was bi. Why can't he just sit back and enjoy what pleasure I can give to her while he gets his pleasure from me and watching?

They think that they are the only Americans. They call themselves the United States of America, of meaning from. They are a part of North America. So technically, wouldn't that make Canadians and Mexicans Americans too?
