Why do people wait until Christmas time to be generous and feed the hungry and the poor? Why not do things like that all throughout the year? If I were needy, I would much rather have someone feed me in the middle of June because they want to than during December because they feel they have to because it's holiday season.

Is there any place that I can give free clothes away in indiana? We want to start a new place for the needed by christmas, where we could give free clothes, that are in good shape to the people that need it this holiday season.

I own a contractor referral service in Colorado Springs, CO. We are sponsoring a Christmas Blessings Program to bless a special family. We have selected the family and are prepared to move forward with organizing their blessing. The family resides in this area: we will be re-furnishing and renovating their home, starting a sholarship fund for their children, providing them with a new car (hopefully) and bringing them into the 21st Century with at least two new computers for the children. We need volunteers to help with the construction/renovation, etc. You may IM, email, or call us if you're interested.

Does anyone knows where o how to give free clothes to the needed people? I dont want to donate it to salvation army or goodwill, because they dont give it away free, they sell it. I want to give it away to the people that dont have money for this holiday season.

If she just asked a question I would have no problem with that and would happily answer and think nothing negative of it but she is also telling you to watch her show on Monday and directing you to her website. Also when you open Yahoo Answers the question pops up under discover and a link leads you directly to her show website. I think this is the first step to advertisement now being part of yahoo answers. just as it is yahoo music etc. If she just asked a question I would have no problem but she is advertising as well. Should the second part of her question and the links to her show be banned?

I have 2 bikes boy and girl (brand new moutain bikes) and clothes to give away. I don't want to take them to Salvation Army nor to Goodwill. I have called local churches and they don't give things away. Any suggestion?

My step daughter has 8 boys, and doesn't have the funds for christmas. She doesn't even have a tree to put up. All of the kids are so disappointed that they won't have a christmas. My step daughter berly gets the bills paid, and is trying very hard to make sure the kids will have a christmas. The boys range from age 14 to newborn.
