Obviously, there are more Roman Catholics in the world now than ever before. But is Roman Catholicism growing WITH the population? Or are their numbers slowly declining?

And a second question: what do you see as the future of this great and beautiful church?

Where is the mustang horse that my dad gave me when I was in Idaho, and knew as "Cola"? I want to locate her. Then maybe I can go see her in person and try to get her back. She was mine but given to my dad's sister and then sold.

(If your not psychic or think that this is silly, please don't even waste your time replying here.)

On Christmas eve :(, and my mother in law is grieving. We are close, and I spent the past two days together including the day she died, we didnt talk much about it, it is hard for her and even though she was old, shes still really missing her. I want to do or give her something. I dont know what. Since we are close and its my husbands Grandmother (and i knew her pretty well also), is a card appropriate? I was trying to think of something not too sad but should i do more than just a card? Maybe I can write a poem, or frame a photo - I appreciate any ideas very much.

Thank you

"The doctors and the police say in so many words, they are not obligated to care for you in any way shape or form and will force needle injected drugs on you like Thorazine and other neuro inhibitors and treat you like a savage and threaten to kill you unless you acceot the mark. The meds wheteher they be for Bipolar or ADHD will be a catalyst for the antichrist to try to have on you or your family. Revelation 13:16-13:17 "And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to recieveth a mark in their righthand or in their foreheads. And that no man may buy or sell, save that he had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name."

An AP article in today's paper aboout coffins made of recycled newspapers are part of a trend toward "natural" burieals, which require no formaldehyde embalming, no cement vaults, chemical lawn treatments or laminated caskets. Advocates say such burials are less damaging to the environment.

The use of fossil fuels in cremation has raised questions about the eco-friendliness of that method.

Boidegradable containers would cost from about $100 for a basic cardboard box to more than $3000 for a fancy, handpainted model. The market is potentially huge.

All you would need to be a cherry tree is your body, a burial site, a cardboard coffin, and a cherry tree planted on top of you.

Fad, or viable alternative burial concept?

I'm asking this as a firm, Christian believer
I'm don't want to be judgemental, I just want to "hear" a view of atheism from atheists...and be nice about it

do you feel complete in life?
where do you go when you feel lonely, sad, depressed, or lost?
are you satisfied in believing that there is no afterlife?
how do you explain the untouchable things in life, like love, happiness, anger, excitement, etc.?

to me, it just seems that believing in nothing beyond this life is depressing.
yes, there is suffering and evil in life, but without darkness, there is no purpose for light. Suffering makes us stronger, makes us appreciate the good in life more.
every law in the Bible has a reason for it; though we may not know the reason for all of the laws now, one day we might.
and not all christians judge people, either...one of the greatest joys in my life is being with other christians who love me and pray for me when i need help
Atheists: how did you come to choose atheism and why?

A friend posted something not to long ago that resonated with me. I have been sort of struggling "feeling" that I had to fine tune my Beliefs. So her question, inspired me to pray and reflect.
Came across, something today while reading that made me know that I had too should release judgement, especially against myself...

"Like a bee, gathering honey from different flowers, the wise man accepts the essence of different scriptures and sees only the good in all religions"--Srimad Bhagavatam,
spiritual text of hinduism

For me, this is an inspiring thought. That even if I no longer agree with all religions that "seeing" only the good, can do nothing but bring peace to myself as well as others.

Would like to know would it possible for you to do that?
If not, why?

Please answer in a way that refers only to yourself and your beliefs that fit your life.
Thanks in advance.
Blessings
