I really want to learn Swahili because I might go to Tanzania in 2009. Are there any free online programs that can help me learn it? Or are there any other ways that you know of that are free or VERY inexpensive? Thank you!!

Try http://www.glcom.com/hassan/swahili.html
It has basic phrases and words to get you
started and a CD with 29 lessons to explore
the language in depth.
Good luck! I've just started learning the language myself.
It's quite interesting.
