Like halloween didnt feel like normal halloweens and thangsgiving for the most part was hella gay. Now christmas doesnt feel anything like christmas and its 60 degrees outside. Wtf is going on or is it just me? anybody else feel the same?

I'm especially interested in this topic. I'm not talking necessarily about really detailed and complicated revelations, like John had on the Isle of Patmos.

I'm asking about any kind of holy revelation -- do any of you receive revelations?

I myself received a revelation in which I saw that God wears outfits similar to what Christopher Walken wore in BALLS of FURY -- only more so.

When guests are told that we'd like to eat by 4 because we have an early day tomorrow, and they're still not here at 6, at what point is it acceptable to go ahead and eat? I have called their cell 3 times and gotten voicemail- and they are the only guests we invited, so I can't use the "my other guests were hungry so we went ahead" excuse. I've spent all day cooking and we're starving.

ok here's my question:
what would you do if a human being (that isn't a christian) comes along, claims to be the son of god and is then crucified by a mob, but then rises from the dead, say, a week later?

would you say it's hogwash and he's a liar?
what if a bunch of his followers (let's say they're native americans) claim to have seen everything and that it's true?

would you say it's a load of nonsense?

There are so many reasons to believe that Joseph Smith was a story teller and not a prophet. Here are a few:
No wheel, horses or metalurgy in the Americas till the spaniards arrived so there is no way the war between the Lamanites and the Nephites could have happened....and there has never been a single sword or chariot from that time ever found (because they don't exist)
The genetic evidence supports science...not J. Smith. Native Americans are decendants of Euro-Asian tribes not Hebrew...besides dark skin is not a punishment, that is ridiculas.
There is no evidence that the Mayan ruins, which are post Jesus by about 800 years have any connection to ancient hebrew or Egyption.

My parents never really taught us our deen. I have strong faith in Islam, but I feel I don't know too much about it! I LOVE Islam, yet I don't really practice. I feel lost. I have had no guidance from my family. I'm finding that I feel a lot of resentment towards my parents for not teaching us or atleast sending us to a school as kids. Now I'm seeing my brothers and their families fall apart and it's all from lack of Islam! I can't bear to watch it. There is always the option of seeking knowledge myself, and I do, but I just feel there's so much I've missed. I want to embrace Islam fully yet it seems near impossible with where I'm at in life and with my family and living in this awful place (UK).

I don't know what my question is. I just need some support, I think. How can I learn more? No matter how much I read I always feel I need more; I NEED to embrace it, I need to have a family that embraces it entirely. How can that ever happen? :S

I just don't understand how people can live while being in a coma ? I mean, basically your just laying there unconscious. I've heard of people laying in a coma's for months, yet once they wake up, they seem fine. How do they get fed ? How do they use bathroom...etc

It must be difficult for family and friends, to watch a loved one living through a coma.

Question from an old soldier. Does the Armed Forces Radio Network still play Christmas Carols during the Christmas Season? I ask because people here seem to be trying to get rid of all mention of 'Christmas' on the airwaves. They were a comfort to me on the 'Grenz' at one time so I am naturally curious now. This is not a trick question, I am a retired First Sergeant and I would like to know.
