I wondered why so many people knew Him so well and I didn't. Hey, I'd been to church since I was knee high! Why wasn't He real to me too? They were talking about Him as if He were so real to them right then and every other day.
Until years passed and things happened and I realised He's always been here for me.
It gives me so much peace of mind that such a great Friendly God runs our Universe... plus He's making everything turn out alright by the End of the Story.

The question is superfloous What other relation can there be between god and you. You may believe in Him or not he is quietly standing by to help you unobstrusively.He does not ask for gratitude or even credit for the friendly help and does not mind if you go on triumpeting that you have done it yourself. Even if you set down to write a treatise to prove that He is not there He would quietly go on suggesting you arguments in favour of the thesis which is near your heart.The mere fact that you would be thinking of HIm while doing this is enough for Him

Although this One accompanies me everywhere, I fear I am not always attuned to our vital friendship... I am thankful, nevertheless, for the steadfastness of Love given in spite of my woeful limitations. The astounding thing is that this One requires no reciprocity. Yes. He is my all in all, the King over all kings and principalities, the only One who can deliver us from the evil one-- He performs miracles and brings all to good in His time, and He loves us and even likes us. He has proven Himself to my heart and saved my life. It is the least I can do to acknowledge Him, even when I am called a liar for His sake. The Word says blessed are those persecuted in His name, and whoever is ashamed of Him, He will be ashamed of. I will never again be ashamed of my Lord. No one can tell me He is not there--I have seen Him at work! If anyone does not believe, all they need do is pray for the truth to be shown to them and it will be done. Yes, God is my friend.
