Yes I received a revelation that all Christians were wrapped tightly in a religious cocoon of ignorance and that their nonsense fantasy God had them afraid their boogie man Satan was going to jump out and bite their butt.

I think that since the Bible tells us that we can't understand scripture with our human minds, anytime we find understanding, it is a revelation.
But outside of that, I get revelation , or understanding of a spiritual truth, while watching movies quite often. The Matrix was so full of revelation that I keep going over and over it hoping for more. I received the keys to my freedom from homosexuality in the part where the little boy tells Neo "there is no spoon" -- I've also gotten revelation in dreams. There are so many ways that Father can speak to us, we just have to keep our spiritual ears open to hear wherever it may come from.

I don't think I have revelations--I'm not positive what that would be, but I definitely have visions of things. I had my dead Grandma visit me and teach me an important thing. I saw a vision in a dream of a landscape that I actually FELT once I woke up. A few years later I suddenly realized I was standing in the location I had seen. I "see" things. Does that count?

i would call them revelations/epiphanies, though they never come to me by visions or dreams or ecxtacies... they always crop up when i study the bible. i'll read something that is stated by one person in one account, and that meaning will carry over to other people hundreds of years later who wouldn't have understood it or meant it aside from the inspiration of God. there is a current of messages underneath the very words in that book.
and btw, the revelation given to Jesus Christ shown to john on patmos isn't too hard to understand. the key to understanding it all is in the first chapter, even the greeting.
also, if you want to know God's actual attire, read revelation 10. don't be thrown off by the reference to the mighty angel... the word angel only means messenger, and Jesus Christ is the messenger of the covenant.

I receive revelations all the time, when I meditate on God's word I receive supernatural revelations to the meaning of what I read. It comes to me after I have tried to figure out the meaning myself and after total aggravation and frustration I finally give up, and then the most logical answer comes to me that my eyes were totally blind too before. Answers that fit all together with God's perfect plan to keep Heaven-Heaven throughout all eternity.

I am not sure if this applies, but I did receive a self-induced revelation to become an atheist in my 7th year of religious schooling.

Yes, I have received them in relation to scripture. I was searching for meaning of some scripture. I prayed for God to reveal it to me, he did. He has also warned me about things that were going to happen.
