ok here's my question:
what would you do if a human being (that isn't a christian) comes along, claims to be the son of god and is then crucified by a mob, but then rises from the dead, say, a week later?
would you say it's hogwash and he's a liar?
what if a bunch of his followers (let's say they're native americans) claim to have seen everything and that it's true?
would you say it's a load of nonsense?
hmmm

If he just "told" me this, I would call him a liar... If it was reported to me by reliable witness, I would give them the benefit of the doubt, but still check it out... If I witnessed it myself I would have to believe that the event happened. (Assuming that this wasn't the Great Randi or sum such)
It has happened before, therefor it is possible that it could happen again... however the event would need to be thoroughly vetted.
The claim of being "the son of god" is a bit much and against my beliefs... That happened only once... That is not to say that this isn't a supernatural event... just that it is not of God...

If I'd seen the change in Peter, James and John, because when Christ left they received the Holy Spirit with power, great power. They healed and raised the dead after Jesus ascended up to heaven.
Even Saul of Tarsus the killer of the Christians witnessed Stephen's death as he was stoned and saw this unusual human asking that his killers be forgiven. But it took Jesus striking Paul blind on the road to Damascus to get this killing Pharisee and Roman to listen.
Five hundred people witnessed Jesus after the crucifixion. The event silenced the entire temple folks as well as the Romans for a short while.
Nonsense - nonsense - It changed history in a devout and astonishing way. The Word of God is so powerful to this very day that it is still changing hearts and minds.
You might have a leg to stand on if IF, if, IF, God had not given us His Word, the Holy Bible. The Word of God changes everything. The Holy Spirit in man changes the man.
I feel sorry for you, because you do not know Jesus.

You know, since you put it that way, I now believe. If someone had explained it to me this way before I never would have left the church.
Edit: is it just me or is Lashara too young to be left alone with a computer that has internet access?

hmmm....atheist is spelled with an E before the I, not the other way around.
Somehow I find it odd that a person who is obviously an atheist (as you are ridiculing Christians) can't spell it.
A Christian would not be wearing a devil outfit.
YET, you CAN spell Christian....even though, as I said, you mock us.
Seems wierd ....

That,s what the atheist are missing, you have to have the faith to believe in God or his Son,without faith none will see God
and when you do come to God with a full heart you will
feel his presence and you will know that he is real.
