Like halloween didnt feel like normal halloweens and thangsgiving for the most part was hella gay. Now christmas doesnt feel anything like christmas and its 60 degrees outside. Wtf is going on or is it just me? anybody else feel the same?

It didnt feel real to me either. Its x-mas night, and the whole day just went by so fast. Maybe its because Ive matured since the years when it felt real, and I no longer "want" things, I only go for the things I need. There was nothing too much to look forward to. This year it was just a day like all others, except it was pampered and dressed up to look important. Maybe I just need to stop thinking Christmas is all about presents, and just concentrate on the spirit...maybe even go to church. I dont know for sure, but I think im growing up way more...and its pretty weird feeling!

The holidays this year did seem a little strange...like not as hyped up for me this year for some reason...maybe it's because I'm getting older and don't have any kids of my own. My husband and I also didn't do presents for each other so that we could donate to some different charities instead....and while I'm very thankful we did that...it didn't feel much like Christmas morning today. However...when I was in bed this morning I told my hubby I've never had a white Christmas...and low and behold...at about noon today is started snowing. I guess Santa made it here after all. LOL. My first white Christmas ever. :-) Hope you still managed to enjoy the day! Take care!

Did you know that in Australia, Christmas comes in the middle of summer, and they still use the American image of Santa with the snow, the sleigh and the christmas tree. As long as you share it with family and friends, it'll always be a great holiday.

Yes only because my husband is in a war zone, im spending christmas with a bunch of people i've never met, and im not seeing my family until spring though. Oh well.
