Neither. Physical violence solves nothing; violence period is not a solution - it only adds to the problem.

I generally don't get angry when someone disrespects me. It is when they hurt my children that I start to boil and pray that the Lord will take over my mind and body to keep me from leaving the Holy Spirit and doing something I would embarass the Lord for. I am getting a little better every time, only by His grace!

First off I don't find it a very feminine thing to do, fighting. Not that I'm one of those ruffly pink wearing girls mind you.
If this other female was no friend of mine I could careless what she said. She has no sway over how I feel. If it was a friend I'd talk to them and if they continued they'd no longer exist as far as I was concerned.
EDIT: It's obvious that someone thinks violence solves everything. Good luck on life whoever you are. May you get what you give out.

Sorry, I am not qualified to answer this question since it is directed only to ladies. Otherwise I could have suggested some alternatives.

I would try to ignore her first... If she continues then I might push her and tell her to get away from me b4 I beat her down... If she goes on and touches me, O it's on.

I never involve myself in altercations with people who mean nothing to me. Waste of energy & time. One of the very best lessons that we can learn in life is to not take anything personally.

Neither ..
The man who foolishly does me wrong, I will return to him the protection of my most ungrudging love; and the more evil comes from him, the more good shall go from me.

I'd blow it off, if someone is so close minded to disrespect someone they don't even know, it wouldn't matter to me what they think at that point.
