My husband is open minded and he doesn't mind me being not christian. But when I want to share - he doesn't understand what I talk about.
Do you or did you have similar experience? and what is it like for you?
(Please don't quote the bible - I read it and know what is said there about it and I don't believe it.)

They rejected it and because they rejected it. It was given to the gentiles. What would happen if the Jews accepted it? Just wondering

I mean think about it, if I just happen to be born in a jungle and we're all nomads and theres no spoken language, how would we even know the "10 commandments" and all the rules of any religion??? I would be running around naked "stealing", "fornicating", and probably "killing". How would I know the "rules"???

And I definitely believe there's a creator. Because even if the "big bang" is true, who created the materials that "banged" and transformed into what we are today?

A little fact:::: It is impossible to "create" something from scratch. Everything that is here today has been here since the creation of the universe. You can only transform what we already have. That means your new shirt, your penny dated 1955, your computer, and the pyramids in Giza are all the same age.

According to the "Liberals" on this site, there is not a distinction....

Is that the problem of seeing everything in gray?

No contrast between things, no distinction, even between the Guilty and the Innocent?

What Biblical prohibition prevents Baptists from dancing that is apparently overlooked or outrightly ignored by other Christian sects? Similarly, why can Roman Catholics consume alcoholic beverages (e.g., wine) but certain Protestant denominations (e.g., Baptists) can't? Explanations sincerely appreciated!

I was once a practicing Jehovah's Witness. I lost my way. I know who he is and I pray to him in my darkest hours. When I feel sad, lonely, and in need.

I used to have an incredible relationship with him. I, instead, wanted to taste the world. I would love his forgiveness.

When I pray for something, that I need so desperately I feel him. Not in a crazy way, but I feel the bond. At times I want to cry.

This is from so deep in my heart. I would love honest answers from people who also feel this bond with your God. (christianity)

Do you feel this is his holy spirit making me feel this way?

I'm not intimately familiar with it, but their theory supposedly has a big following. It speculates that the 1990s decline in crime was caused by legalized abortion. In the 1990s, the lower fertility among demographics likely to commit crimes came to fruition.

People who have thought this way, most of the time, got people killed in their own depraved mission. There is no right or wrong, or black or white. Life has always been a balance, and typically the human mind has to try and simplify it.

and I want to confirm if it is true or not.
One nite the Prophet along with his friends had a small get together in the desert and they were drinking wine all night. In the morning one of the friends found dead(beheaded) and Mohammad's sword was full of blood. That moment he realized that he was the one that killed his friend under the influence of alcohol, ans since that moment he said that no Muslim should drink any alcoohol under any curcustances. Is that story true ? Is it confirm that this is the reason for ban alcoohol in Isalm?

The fact is that more humans have died for the cause of christianity than for any other reason in the history of man on earth.
People have been slaughtered or died for the Church for the past 2000 years.
Religion has been the greatest cause of destuction and death and the reason for most wars. this is a simple historical fact.
It continues today with our war in the Iran and Afganistan.
How do you live with your selves? How do your reconcile you "charity" and "good will" towards all man-kind with the reality of the past and present?

I am 51 and have end stage emphysema. Since Katrina, I have lost all my furnishings and rents have doubled. I am on SSDI. Currently I live with my parents in their 70's way out in the country and it is not a good situation for me and the isolation is making me depressed. Also I am hypersensitive to chemicals and burning wood and that is going on here all the time. I need help with groceries and occasionally errands or going to the doctor if I feel really ill. Most other things I can do , it just takes me a long time. What can I do about housing and getting some help?
