Not really.
Since God does everything according to the counsel of His own will, then His answers to your questions are the only ones that will matter when you face Him before you enter eternity.
My opinions about what God says do not matter if they are based on Human understanding only.
Since the Goodness of God and all His other attributes are in the Holy Scriptures, then if I give those to you, I can do you no harm.
I can tell you that if you claim to know Him, but your actions, something you claim not to do, are not in line with what He says about Himself and His commands for you, then you are in no way a Christian at all.
Your actions must line up with what you believe in your heart about the Holy character of God.
Have a blessed day.

Because it is the will of God that the words coming out of a christian should be not of his own but of the wisdom from the bible which is the authority of the christian faith.
Colossians 4:6
Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.
It is forbidden for christians to exceed above that which is written.
1 Corinthians 4:6
And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollos for your sakes; that ye might learn in us not to think of men above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one against another.

If you buy a new car, you read the owners manual and when ever you do something to the car you refer back to the manual. The Bible is God's manual for life to us. As we do life we need to refer back to the manual to see how to do it right and how to please God.
ps I'm a christian and didn't quot the bible once in my ans.

If you're asked something about the religion you follow I don't see whats so bad about supporting it with a quote from the book in which the religion is built upon.

I guess you do not every Christian on this forum because I rarely quote scripture on here. Quoting scripture to people who refuse to accept its authority is useless.
Actually I quote it a lot, just paraphrased.

Hmm.
We certainly aren't reading the same questions and answers then.
I am a faithful Christian. I *will* provide citation(s) when needed, but tend to (almost always) answer in my "own words".

Christians dont think for themselves
they rely on the bible to tell them how to live life and what to do
the bible was written by man not god so in reality they are whipped by dead men

What did you ask that had them quote the bible? Isn't it interesting that I can call on something even stronger than me to help me. But if your in trouble you have to fight alone.

Considering that book dictates their lives, it's not unexpected they quote it constantly, also when you qutoe the bible it's easier to twist the words from paper than it is to cover lies from the mouth
